Well, gotta watch the last 6 episodes of the season to see how things will play out and if it will end with an opening. All, in all, I hope we get more sooner or latter thought, cause with all the potential this series have, I think it could still go way over more 6 episodes.

Just like a season of 13 episode to answer the question that might be left in this season and show how are the KKS doing as successors. I will like to see a "Last Stage" but I doubt it will ever happen.

Mcross Frontier's ending isn't really open and Muv Luv is an adaptation of a currently running light novel, hence the open ending.

AKB0048 only needs to deal with the center nova plot. Everything else could be left to the viewers' imagination. All in all, I think we can expect Chieri and Nagisa to become successors and center nova together, and deal with Chieri's father.

I'd call that lazy screenwriting. Notice that if they choose that route it'll be only their fault, since they've brought quite a lot of plots on the table.

Aaand it looks like Yuuko is gone (permanently or not, from this episode it's hard to tell). Not really liked the fact they introduced another position out of the blue, Position Zero.
Aside that, Akibastar is pretty much in ruins and Zodiac has got what it wants (though the exact purpose isn't completely clear). Mii looked a bit too shocked they didn't keep their end of the bargain, assuming there was one to begin with... Also I think it's ridicolous she did all that, supposedly jut to meet Acchan again (at least from what she tells Tsubasa)...

No position zero means the center stage. It's the position of the Center Nova.

Did Nagisa do anything remotely relevant in this episodes? For a character who is supposed to be the main char, she has been very much in the background for this season. She got her dertermination after the election, she declared her dertermination...but they're just declaration without any significant and meaningful action to back up with (and interrupting the broadcast is pretty lame)

I almost forgot she is the main char, and started to think the story rotates its main chars amongst the girls, mostly Chieri, and Nagisa is sort of your viewpoint character here...Or has the main char has been shifted to Chieri already? Hm never guess Mayuyu is so popular...

It was a Yuuko episode. That should answer your question I think.

Also I think Nagisa is the kind of main character that really gets to do something at the very end. Kinda like Madoka. Although in this case I bet she will do it together with Chieri, since their characters are pretty much built up as a duo.

I guess I'm in the minority but the whole Yuuko event felt pretty much forced and it could have been done without the huge billboard signs that were shown in the entire episode (from the beginning with Acchan) in a more subtle way. Chieri saying Yuuko wouldn't disappear was actually the confirmation of it happening....
Next will probably be Takamina, in a way or another.

I don't know if I saw something that is forced or not, but this is coming from a man who just seen great supporting characters getting the Pineapple Treatment.

What if Nagisa becomes Yuuko and Chieri Acchan? Nagisa is almost as obsessed with Chieri as Yuuko is with Acchan, so it makes some sense.

Looks like Chieri is getting the emergency promotion, so chances next episode Chieri and Nagisa will fall ill like Mimori and S4 finally give us the truth about the Center Novas, which isn't as bad as it seems.

Seems like the girls already are used to calling her Mariko. Everyone so M for her! Also funny Sonata calling her Mimomari. And Nagisa is so gay for Yuuko XD

The loneliness of a Center Nova. I guess i comes with the fact that no one else would be able to quite understand how it is to be in that situation. If the theory that Nagisa and Chieri would become Center Nova together is correct, then maybe that could be a solution to that part.

Interesting that on the flashback about Acchan that Tsubasa tells Takamina and Yukirin, the Tomochin there is wearing the heart shaped earrings, which means it's likely current Tomochin older sister. Also her description about Center Nova is quite scary.

Nice fanservice with Yuuko and Mii-chan! From Mii-chan monologue there, I think she may feel guilty from abandoning her position and want to find them to tell them she is sorry she didn't have the courage or something like that.

Chieri dad creepiness keeps growing... And there comes the attack, so much is destroyed. The way Sensei-Sensei goes during the attack made me think whether it's a machine. The scene where the 5 girls on the flying plates take a step closer to each other at the same time was pretty cool. Chieri dad going "just as planned"regarding Mii-chan's actions.

So it does seems the Center Nova disappearance is somehow related with being sent somewhere through a Kirara Drive of some kind. The question is, where are they taken? If it was simply another place on the world, you would expect they could just come back. It may be some very far away galaxy, another dimension / alternative universe, maybe even past or future. Although one would wonder how can Acchan still be able to sense everyone and talk to them, like in episode 13.

Seems like Chieri father objective was to capture a Center Nova, although Yuukp went from becoming one and generating the disappearing phenomenon right away. Btw I do hope her explosion was enough for them to defeat the DES attack. At that moment the DES forces were ordered to capture her, so the mecha should all have approach her and being taken down by the explosion.

And well, goodbye Yuuko the 9th At least for now. Maybe around the end of the season we may see the characters going after them and maybe meeting some of the past Center Nova.
