The Type 89 is there to prevent the Maus from moving its turret. We even got to see the Maus' commander going out and chiding the girls

But yeah... WoT would assess massive ramming damage against the Hetzer, but on the other hand, you can't totally flatten a tank in WoT either. I still want to see people fill in the Westfield bridge gap with TOG II* wrecks and have something drive over it.

I must nod at that scene for basking in the series's use of Oarai teamwork and just plain Refuge in Audacity.

Half the weight of the Maus is resting on the Hetzer, since the other half is on the tracks/rear end still resting on the ground. And like Marina 2 said, most of the weight rest on the rear with the engine/turret there which might even shift the weight.
