Thanks for V5.2, Frost Horn was also mentioned in V4 in Akihabara BG, wonder if he'll get some more cameos?

I'm really interested in Frost Horn's special skill, Frosted Circle, since it's the first AoE skill I've read in AW. The frost layer prevents Silver Crow from moving/detaching his shoulder blades, it'd probably also seal Cyan Pile's Splash Stinger as well since he shouldn't be able to move his chest plates.
Wonder what would happen if Aqua Current fights against Frost Horn, would her water armour freeze and restrict her movement or even prevent her from moving?

Rider had an Armament that let him use the skill Arms Creation, and from what i can deduce the ARS picked it up and used it to create the ISS kit.

Thing is...

At this point in time, Haruyuki finally realized what that jet black organism was.
That was the main body of the mysterious «ISS Kit». Hadn’t Takumu said it? That all ISS Kits were mutually linked. That if one Kit became stronger, then the surrounding Kits also became stronger. This very sight was undoubtedly that «link». Each time they fell asleep, through the imagination circuits of Brain Burst they were lured to this world and were mutually connected through the main body of the Kit, the lump of flesh.

If the original Armament created guns, that what on earth is that?!

Arms Creation is the name of the skill, not the armament which has not been revealed.

To set the record straight: the ISS kits only bear the emblem of two crossed guns, guns are not the kit itself.

The "fail-safe" thing you're talking about is not entirely accurate, that refers to the weapons Rider created but wouldn't fire - he made them that way as a sign of peace. Only one gun has ever been seen, it's named "Seven Roses".

As for the emblem themselves, they're like a watermark on each piece of equipment created by Rider's armament.

I'm not exactly sure why ARS could pick up the armament to begin with. A theory I have in mind is that once the redhead rolled and the fighting started, Cosmos went invisible and quietly picked up the armament in Card form or something like that.

Finally, the fail-safe function of the ISS kit, IIRC, is a recall function so that it flies back to the source, wherever that is.

It could be possible that the ISS consciousness is Red Rider's conciousness left behind in the AW. Somehow, his consciousness remained in the Arms Creation and the ARG managed to corrupt it to that thing.

I am more interested in why the main server has copies of the consciousness of BB players? What would they do with these copies of consciousness? Unless... (look at the SAO and AW Connection thread in SAO sub forum).

Didn't say the guns were the ISS kit itself, although I get that the ISS kit only has the emblem of RR, nothing more

From what I understood on the Volume 12 summary posted here a couple of years ago, it was implied that arms creation was an equipment, or enhanced armament (from how enhanced armament was defined on the accel world wiki) so I was really confused about what Arms Creations was (now i know its a skill only) and how the ISS kit worked.

And thanks for clearing those doubts I had before.

Ash Roller's controller is his sister Rin, who apart from initiating acceleration and choosing matchups, cannot control the avatar and bike in any way.

Roller himself has said, he doesn't know if he is the soul of the brother or a copy of the brother's soul.

Adding in the knowledge of the STL, which can read and copy souls, we have a strong argument that BB copies the soul of the controller, and stores them in the central server

Or it could just be author borrowing structures from Alicization, we've already seen so many parallels between AW and SAO.

The Kits communicate via a central entity at night when the Linker sleeps, as V8.4 shows. The more Kits are distributed, the greater the amount of information and power they collect and the more powerful the kit's users become.

It is speculated that upon a certain command or signal, the kit will self-duplicate, possibly to infect another avatar or to create a copy of the host avatar, a clone.

I mentioned in an earlier post but I'm too lazy to link it; this ISS kit thing could be part of a very clever plan to turn AW upside down. The ARS tried the top-down method with CD armour, having one berserk guy kill the rest one by one. But with the IS kit, its like having democracy meets nukes by having an increasing population of Linkers abusing the Kit's powers, spreading twisted ideas of strength among new Linkers who don't know anything about IS. The worst part is, executing an infected user with Judgement Blow or uninstalling their BB won't stop the plague if their incarnate clones are running around. So the Kings' plan to keep IS secret is pretty much fucked if the Kit is spread even more.

Experienced readers, feel free to correct any inaccuracies I made.

Lightning Dark Spike is Taku's own skill when infected by ISS kit, it's not a standard attack available to all infected. Standard attacks from ISS are only 'Dark Blow', a physical/CQC one, and 'Dark Shoot' which is a long-range one.

Also, AFAIK, ISS kit can't make clones that run around AW yet.

Thanks for the update.

Looks like we finally have a character with BIC is on the side of Haru and co. I didn't think Utai would use BIC.

But, it is interesting that the thought speaking through Neuro-linker is only a translation of the movement of vocal cords and muscles to transmit via wireless connection. Although, it is amazing that Utai can type so fast despite being so young... Oh, Wait.... Brain Burst... How old is she really?

I finally obtained Chinese Raws for the Blu-Ray side story, 赤炎的轨迹, otherwise translated as Flaming Red Orbit. (any other suggestions?)Traces Of Prominence. Credits go to reekilynn and 蜂鸣器 for the hard work.

...no way I'm translating this anytime soon though. As a Singaporean citizen I'm due for enlistment in the army, aka National Service. That happens in a month and when that does my translation progress will be near zero. So that's a month left to do whatever I can of V11.

I am just assuming they played 8 hours a day which is 1 year in AW as my basis. Remember, SR said in Vol. 3 that you sleep in the UF and still feel refreshed with time to spare at night.
