Alrighty, here's my question. i registered just to ask this.
And bare with me, i'm running off of my memory and i watched this quite some time ago. now, if i remember correctly, Jail's final escape plan was, that he had each of the combat cyborgs carrying a baby clone of his, along with his memories some how. Presumably, his plan was, that if everything falls apart, as long as one of the Numbers gets away, then 9 months later, baby Jail. i'm assuming that he had somehow figured a way to accelerate the baby's growth, and that the pregnancy might even last less than 9 months. So my question is, what ever happened to all those baby Jails? Sound State X is the only one i listened too, and i don't remember any reference there, nor is there anything in Vivid or Force. did the Numbers all give birth and is the TSAB keeping an army of younger jails in prison too? or did the TSAB force the numbers to abort the babies? or some combination of the too? |

My alternative is that the fetuses were removed, and are being donated to women who are unable to concieve, or grown in tubes with adoptive parents awaiting. Because morality aside, when you get a bumber crop of geniuses, you don't snuff it out, you try to keep it around and make sure it grows up RIGHT. The TSAB didn't kill the Type-Zero sisters when they found them; they allowed Quint to raise them as normal girls. |

So do I, but the Bureau has been shown to be up to some shady business, so I wouldn't put that past them.

On the other hand, I imagine that Scaglietti didn't really want to be multiplied by twelve, either (otherwise, he would have made ten more Unos), so he probably built in some kind of failsafe into the Numbers that resulted in a miscarriage in all but one of them if he died and in all of them, if he didn't. While not much better than the forced abortion theory, at least the Bureau isn't involved in this one. ^^ Quote:
