Well, there ARE silver haired people (blonde so pale that it shines under sunlight), but it's rare

Basically

Black > Blonde >> Redhead >>>>>> Silver

We're talking about one per million or so, and I am sure Laura's hair is very much accidental just like her albino skin, a side effect of genetic engineering.

School's a problem because I couldn't think of other ways to have characters interact without slugging it out in the arena. Or maybe I've ran outta juice for the moment.

Too much action sequence going on in my head, including a planned arc where there's a machine genuinely made to beat the IS. Who gets to pilot it, I'll leave it to your imagination.

I don't know guys, I'm still feeling a little reluctant on putting Brian's background/past in the story.

Here's a hint on his past:

If Tatenashi were to grab hold of him in an erotic manner, he would have an emotional breakdown because he's psychologically scarred from what happened when he was younger.

White or Silver hair on characters is usually shown to emphasize trauma or being "locked into strangeness"; rarely is it ever natural. White and Silver hair also changes meaning for gender: White haired girls tend to be emotionless or sick while gray haired girls are smart and methodical. By contrast, most white haired males are shown to be evil/malevolent while gray haired males are heroic.

@ Jak - Didn't you already tell us what happened to him? I remember commenting it seemed somewhat ham-fisted
