Head to the Light Novel thread and then you understand, there is a certain important character that Gisen has ties to last season.

Edit: Nevermind: you have already. Though doesn't it seem strange that Gisen enjoys doing that to her General (well not really), despite the gender.

Samurai Bride 05 - TeruTeru Victory!

So this was less of a beach episode and more of a tournament episode, though the majority of the tourney was skipped over via montage. (A sleeping competition?) Gutsugutsu's role was minor, but effective. She also provided the most fanservice, so more points for my favorite punching bag. If nothing else, this episode made me a Mataemon fan. This may be residual Candelira vibes taking over, but the way she rotated that hula hoop, all that stomach focus and that Tomatsu voice... I want to see more of what she can do. The audience abandoning the cast halfway through makes me realize that although this series is set at a school, it's never immediately apparent. The school itself plays such a small role in the episodes that it's almost inconsequential. And it keeps the main cast feeling small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I like how Sen and Yukimura are willing to team up if it means they both can cheat/benefit - but leave it to the monkey (and Gutsugutsu) to mess things up. That's the problem with foolproof plans. The ingenuity of fools. Even with the added maid cafe focus, S2 is still the same fun watch as S1. The red/blue ink effects were really pretty.

So, Inner Moka Jubei is returning? The stakes, they have been raised.

Well that's the LN which we already know is very different to the anime. Gisen could possibly be bisexual and swing both ways. She's much too lewd to be attracted to just men.

I should have said this before but Yukimura and Sen makes a good team. They have good chemistry, though it's fail chemistry. xD

And honestly, Matabei deserves more moments. She's pretty cute in her own rights and... she sniffs around a lot, JK. lol

I wanted Yukimura to be paired with the silent girl, even their physique are almost identical. =3= But alas, probably outcome won't change...

I like how the good guys were the ones cheating and using underhanded means to win. Sen and Yukimura make a great villain duo.

Naoe had a minor role this week, but she still provided most of the laughs (and fanservice). The other funniest scene was Gisen given up on the competition to give a titjob to Muneakira. Yoshihiko going "uki uki" because Sasuke stole the mic was also funny. He was the one character I thought wouldn't be ridiculed in this series but it appears no one is safe.
