No, but canonically we have already been shown the National Tournament. We've been told the next international is a few years away and will be held in Japan. With only 16 schools in the Nationals I suppose there won't be some kind of Prefectural contest. So the only canonically substantiated our new Chi Ha Tan Captain can do is lead in "friendly" matches privately organized between schools.
Or do you have solid ideas what she might do? |

There seem to be tourneys independent of the National tournaments. Remember Maho's little bit in Little Army? That seems to have been a tourney done over the summer break (whereas the one we had in the show was during the actual school semester).

That is fantastic news! I enjoyed SAO quite a bit (or at least half of it) but it doesn't hold a candle to GuP. It had been quite same time since I last craved the next episode of a show as bad as I craved the Girls und Panzer episodes.

I would consider that basically a Prefectural contest. That there is a regional qualifier would be reasonable (and common in most sports) if not for the fact Oarai would have had to face it too and they clearly didn't. So I count that as contradicted.

Still, this is a possibility that I would consider not at least partially contradicted by canon. Well, maybe they'll come up with something official. We'll see... |

The way things work is that the 3rd years usually have to "retire" after a Summer season, because the second half of the year is when they'll have to prepare for their college entrance exams. The ones who will participate in the Winter season will be whoever they choose to take their places.
In this case, there's a whole lot of people leaving. Maho is one of them, ditto for Darjeeling and Assam. For Oorai, obviously the Student Council won't be able to participate in the winter season, when it comes. For a comparison with Saki, this means that it's Hisa, Teru, and Sumire's last chance at the National finals table. Ditto for Yuu, Mairu, Toki, Ryuuka, and Sera.

OK so is this a new School: to what 'nation' is it affiliated? The tank type would indicate Japan, but I had been thinking the school KMM fought in that battle wasn't 'Japanese' in affiliation. The camoflge scheme was actually making me think Hungarian, but I have no idea if that was among the list of schools in the tournament.
