I quite like your mecha design. And yeah, try working on the face there and it's gonna look better.

Sometimes I look back and think to myself, "how the hell did I manage to screw this up?"

is kind of very cool...
first suggestion....using ruler to Straight out some of the line with some make it more mecha?
2....find more about metals' color.....xd
3....i think you are better with the mecha ..not the human~~practice~pratice

Hey nice mechs you got there. I agree about using a ruler to draw mechs. It really does help the overall look of mecha. Other than that I would say you're off to a good start. The best way to make a mecha drawing look professional in my opinion is to use a ruler and clean up the lineart.
