Good for us. The game is a hybrid of dark souls and the Elder Scrolls. I am not complaining one bet, though am surprise Capcom didn't try to make money out of it.

All in all, its bad news for Xbox 1. A game of this value and its free as well it is a PS4 exclusive.

Think it felt like it was too much commentary or it kind of resemble something that you would see in a Splinter Cell game.

It 'feels' like Conviction/Blacklist because of the tagging, but there's nothing wrong with the tagging mechanics, it doesn't give you an unfair advantage- There's no "Mark and Execute".

We didn't see much of the UI so I don't know if health and stamina bars have been completely removed or if that's just God mode for the demo.

I suppose the only real argument is the slow-mo detect, but as shown in the second demo that's not all powerful either if an enemy guard sneaks up on you.

As for Metal Gear, I felt the game is trying to reboot itself back to the stealth genre. I didn't buy Metal Gear Rising Revengeance for that reason. Game was miss out of place in the Metal Gear Universe and felt like Ninja Gaiden to me.

People don't want stealth anymore. Mindless Hack n Slash is what sells. Same reason why Resident evil went from a survival horror to your normal FPS with zombies.

Rising sold a decent amount but it was still less than an MGS game. HnS in general have a relatively niche audience with GoW being the dudebro a exception. Even DMC in comparison is not on par with your AAA shooter.

Is it really so hard to accept that Kojima just wants to make a HnS game starring Raiden? And the fact that you call it mindless tells me you know nothing about it because unless you plan to easy mode it, there's no way you could mash your way through.

It would be so great to play PS3 games on PC... But with my internet speed it would be rather impossible for me to use this. :/

Kind of off-topic, but I just wanted to share how fabulous Amazon is.

They sent me two emails today.

The first one states that they've got some additional Lauch Edition PS4s and that my pre-order for Standart Edition has been upgraded to Launch Edition.

The second one tells me my order has been canceled as the seller is unable to ship Launch Edition to my address

Surprised you weren't given something for your troubles since you must make a new pre-order with the odds of it not going through because they're selling out everywhere.

Not even $10 towards a new purchase or something.

I was given $15 towards a new purchase (last line in the quote provided)

UPD: also, it seems kind of strange, as many other preorders were canceled (check out amazon forums for PS4) - it appears the do not send it outside of the US now.

Ar no Surge announced for PlayStation 3
