From the PV :
- Is that Ikeda Shuiichi as narrator? will he become one of the member's VA? XD - Seems like we'll have another fist user main character instead of the usual sword users. I had lots of fun playing as Jude last game, so I'll be looking forward what other different gameplay they'll give us this time. - Graphic seems nicer than Xillia from the PV, but it's cam quality so I'll wait for clearer version for this. Overall, can't wait for this game to come out XD.

Kayanon with an adult voice is unusual but quite fitting. Loving her range over time.
That said, I can't say much about Slei/Slay, especially that Kimura is more or less using the same ol voice... That aside, I really think Baba and his team should decide for once on a title that actually makes sense with the given game. At this time, I think none makes sense starting from destiny (unless Rebirth does, but I didn't play it so heh). Well, I can sort of give them some slack for Vesperia, but Graces and Xillia OTOH...

Looks like the game will be released worldwide and not only in Japan first.
Check the Tales Series page on Facebook. EDIT: Namco Bandai confirms Tales of Zestiria for North and South American release. http://kotaku.com/namco-bandai-confi...d-s-1481919069

We already had a good 90% hunch that it'd make it overseas due to early trademarks, though it is nice that it's confirmed. That said, it says nothing of a simultaneous release, and unless they rush the releases, it'd be nearly impossible to do.
Symphonia in late February Zestiria in late October/early November That would mean Xillia 2 would have to release in late June to have about 4 months between each release. That seems to be stretching it REALLY thin. I'd assume it's more likely we'll get Xillia 2 in late August/September, and then Zestiria in February/March 2015. |

I’m very proud to announce that Tales of Zestiria, the newest installment and 20th Japanese anniversary commemorative title for the Tales franchise, will be launched in North America for PS3. This is a huge moment for Namco Bandai Games, and the Tales team in particular, as it’s the first time we’ve simultaneously announced the game for both Japan and the west. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/...coming-to-ps3/ "

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for it to be out next year in the US, but nothing is stating a simultaneous release, only a simultaneous announcement. And to be fair, Symphonia was damned close to being simultaneous. It was what, an hour after the Japanese announcement?
Also, best comment I've read about this on Kotaku: "You're not clean until you're Zestiria clean!" |

I'd say it has a pretty good chance. Baba knows it's a desired feature, it's "new" so the contracts would have a chance to include it (unlike Xillia), and it isn't a sequel to a game that already was released as a solo language (Xillia 2).

I'll take it with a grain of salt but let's just hope it really is a simultaneous release and with some luck also dual audio. Let's just dream a little, alright?
It also seems all the attention that tales has gotten in the last years might have finally paid off, feels damn good. |

Well an international release on the same day would be nifty that's for sure, but something tells me that probably won't be the case.
At the very least though I expect the gap between the Japanese and foreign releases will be much smaller, and not 2 years like for both Xillia games.~

Anyone think that it looks like the battles have no transition (or almost none?). really neat if so. And male lead's design still sucks even in clearer pictures. Kinda of how amazing they made look worse than Jude and Asbel. |

Hopefully, it's one of those things that grows with you over time. That or go with an alt costume instead.
