It was adapted/based from that legend but this is tamni and not the legend. Even if its adapted from the legend its not like Kamachi would copy the whole legend. Then why write it if your just copying the whole thing?

I'm pretty sure Silvia came later and Othinus doesn't seem that old, which is also implied by the fact that Othinus claimed that Ollerus has no idea what being a god is like. So Othinus probably predates Ollerus.

Nah, the whole point of the plot is Othinus attempting to degrade and torment Touma until he commits suicide. Touma having any dignity in this volume is unlikely.

Maybe that's a little too hasty

They don't have near as much character development.

I'm okay with seeing the others in action.

I just like the new characters a lot.

This is just a reaction to the fact that their relationship to Touma is so much bigger than any of the other characters, but you could also say that these were unnatural experiences that the two shared in comparison to actual experiences in the same world that Touma had with the other two, which might make his relationships with the other two be a little less-skewed or more real...

Either way, the amount of resolve Touma now has puts every other Shonen character I can think of to shame

Though it's funny Othinus has green eyes? And has Gold colored hair and gold> silver xD

Just watch her be Index's mother... that would be more than a little weird (Index wouldn't be able to tell anyway since she lost her memories...)

Just a sad dream... it would tie Index back in to being important again...
