Not much to say here. Most folks who knew about Liz and Patty knew what their lives were like before Kid picked them up. Trying to learn the rules in a society that isn't the brutal one where they had been living... well, it takes time. And perhaps a little encouragement from an unexpected source.
Death Bazaar next week! I've been waiting for this.

Certainly a solid episode to show that middle point between the Liz and Patty on the streets to the main series. There is that culture issue in going from one way of life to the other. Of course it also almost killed the shop to pull this off .
I guess the situation with these sisters would mean something more to Tsugumi. Though that's some stubbornness to keep on going every day despite the uncomfortable situation in that shop. No chance for Anya and Tsugumi in that fight. A serious difference between fighting just some losers like we saw in the first episode and these two.

On the other hand the witch does not leave behind living witnesses with her victims.
The A plot is Tsugumi, Anya and Meme with us getting reintroduced to characters before the Soul Eater proper on the light side while the B plot Akane and Clay deal with the dark side. These plots will eventually intersect. The only show I can think of with a similar setting is is A Certain Scientific Railgun. |
