Tatsuya massacred those guys and showed no mercy. Juuumonji is ripped to the point that sometimes I doubt he is a high school student.
The dance was nice and I liked the insert song but the CGI for certain parts was just awful.

Well, seeing that dancing sequence, Mahouka sure has a staple of nice girls. And Tatsuya dances with every one of them (okay, with the exception of Fujibayashi perhaps, heh). With Mayumi at the top. At least for me. Aside from these things, a little bit more about Tatsuya himself this time. So the Yotsubas crafted him into a living weapon. No wonder he is so overclocked. You already have the most powerful magicians in the Yotsubas and they create a specialised human weapon? Last but not least, poor Mikihiko and Leo. They won the Rookie event for First High and still have to wash dishes while the rest enjoys themselves with dancing.

The Demon's Light spell that Tatsuya was executing them with didn't really give off the feeling that they were getting killed.
At first I thought it was some magic dispelling ability since his first few victims were the body guards (who behaved like a bunch of soul-less machines), it felt like they were some kind of shikigami who got its core body destroyed. When his shots started hitting the clan members, I thought he was teleporting them into the custody of his comrades rather than killing them. And yes, that insert song + ball scene felt like it was emulating a certain scene from FF8. Not that the song was particularly bad or anything. |

This was a nice episode but seriously people need to learn to not piss off Tatsuya, he just massacred everyone of them with little trouble and no hesitation.
Aside from that the rest of the episode was quite nice seeing him dace with all the girl was quiet lovely, but it look like he cause more trouble for himself by beating Ichijou wonder what he do now. |

They didn't need them anymore. They already got valuable information out of them and the fact that the commander stayed back while Tatsuya took care of them showed that the everything was left to Tatsuya' discretion. Tatsuya saw no reason to keep them alive because he got intel from and wiping out their agents in Japan including the boss's adviser sends a strong warning to the boss. The gloves came off the second they went after Miyuki and Tatsuya wasn't taking any prisoners.

Tatsuya isn't a police officer. He has no obligation to capture criminals and put them in jail. He's a bodyguard for Miyuki, and a special forces operative. His priorities are to eliminate threats to Miyuki and to eliminate threats to the country, in that order.

- Oh wow. That Demon Light thing is stupidly powerful. On the other hand, Masaki's ability is actually better from the perspective of war.
- I'm not sure what Masaki meant when he said "you have no business worrying about me anyway". Or is it that's him just being pissed at him because he lost? - I thought Tatsuya was planning to get in Masaki's way when he came over, but he ended up pushing Miyuki to dance with him. I wonder exactly what he wants? Like, would he be okay with Miyuki marrying someone else? - You know, I was half thinking that Juumonji was going to ask Tatsuya to dance with him. That was my first thought. - Tatsuya is part of the Yotsuba clan right? Miyuki as well. So I assume he is just hiding it. Though based on his position, I don't imagine him marrying Masumi would ever been considered acceptable. Another thing... It's interesting how various people are making all sorts of plans about Tatsuya, when I think he actually his own plans and doesn't have a whole lot of interest in anyone elses. Somewhat rare in a main character. Quote:

Now whether Miyuki could be happy married to someone other than Tatsuya is another matter altogether.

How would the convict him without evidence? H destroyed them all without leaving a body. They would be considered missing unless a body was found. Tatsuya doesn't care about anything besides Miyuki. He has the backing of the Yotsuba who would silence any info on him getting out and the government. That they recognized Demon Right also sealed their fate.
Tatsuya has been shown to have high value with the government. As long as he makes no move against the country they won't do anything.

If you want to argue he's a bad person for killing people too weak to fight back who were begging for mercy, then go ahead. But don't bother bringing the "law" into it. |

Welp, more OP Tatsuya (at least they finally clarified why) and terrible CG. Mostly terrible CG, as that stuck out the most. I'd honestly be more content with a bunch of still shots rather than what we got.
In other events, Juumonji is trying to ship Tatsuya and Mayumi, the insert song was nice, and this arc is finally over! After this arc I would think that there's nowhere to go but up, but this show never ceases to surprise me.
