Damn, the fight is a blast. Brings back a lot of memories. Then that ending song almost made me cry since I remembered that this might be the last time I'll see Saitama again on anime. Nevertheless, it's a hell of a ride this season, worthy of being one of the best animes of this year.
10/10

Of course these words are from his follower so take it with a grain of salt. When asked, ONE simply said Boros was above dragon, and didn't specify him a god level. I have a feeling he is reserving that spot for, well, an actual god.

Oh hey, another Freeze-Frame Bonus moment this episode: in 22:48, we see the notebooks filled with Genos' notes, and if you know enough Japanese, you'll see that they detail what he probably was able to wheedle out of Saitama about his fight with Boros, including how Saitama wanted to prove that he DID get blasted to the moon since he had a moon rock with him... but lost it.
Nice nod to the extra chapter there, ahaha.

Episode 12:
Looks like Madhouse fully-delivered the hype that is One-Punch Man starting with a serious battle between Saitama and Lord Boros, although the former would win over the latter! Anyways, it's sad that we'll have to wait for a year or two in regards to Season 2, but I'm happy that Madhouse did a solid adaptation! |

ep 12 [END]
I wonder what the effect of "Serious Consecutive Punches" would look like... impact of several supernovas going off? And how much of whoever got hit would be left?
You gotta have a chuckle how atypical this final battle went. Normally the reverse of what happened here would be Hero putting up a good fight, but clearly struggling against odds beyond here. Boros vs Saitama basically destructs all of that violent. You know something off when a infamous Galactic Warlord becomes nothing more than childsplay as soon as he steps into the wrong backwater planet. But I guess we can say with this that literally nothing on earth can beat Saitama huh? Well regardless, great episode to cap off the this show. Though I could have done without that "Hero shaming" rehash from that useless Amai Mask guy. |

The song is "悲しみたちを抱きしめて" (Kanashimi-tachi o dakishimete), sung by Hiroko Moriguchi, and it is the B-track to the ED single. |

First Ore Monogatari (fine for me), then Overlord (good) and OPM (great). Madhouse is surely the 'Anime Studio of the Year' for me.
Gonna wait for the rest of OADs & its spinoff (not really sure is Mob Psycho 100 really the spinoff of OPM or not) to release, hope the time to announce second season adaptation is not long as wait for a new Half-Life game to release.... |

Bad guys giving themselves titles is a custom. It's not boasting. It's a recognition of their achievements. Sea King ruled the seas so he's king of the seas. Boros razed the galaxy so that makes him "Dominator of the Galaxy." Splitting it in two would mean it was only slightly stronger than Boros' attack. Whereas annihilating the middle section of the blast would require much greater strength. Saitama's tanked Boros' attacks like they were nothing and his punches would've killed Boros if it weren't for his regenerative ability. A serious punch should way outclass Boros's strongest attack. No I'm not. Quit making stuff up. Nothing I wrote implied that. I'm saying ONE's saving god for something stronger. Whether that be a single being or a class of beings. Although considering the rarity of even an above dragon level threat, it'd be surprising if we got more than one god class threat. |

"Thanks for watching the final episode of One Punch Man! Please look forward to seeing Saitama and co animated on TV some day again!" Also, Nico-nama airing of One Punch Man had the VA of Saitama say "we'll see you again around this time next year!" as Saitama sock puppet. Hell. Yeah. Nothing set in stone, but enough to get pumped.

Anime covered 7 out of 10 volumes out, and Murata consistently release two volumes a year. So yeah, they'll either have to stretch out 5 volumes, go ahead of Murata's re-draw by a volume or so, or throw in originals to pad it out. ..... OR, Murata follows up on his word that he'll do everything he can do get another season, and pump out double the amount and actually get 4 volumes worth of material out in 2016.
