Magazine: Monthly Shounen Magazine Started in December and there are currently 3 chapters. Each chapter has been 65 pages long so there is plenty of content already. It appears to have a similar type of humor to Beck but the plot is more similar to Bakuman and it involves spirits. |

Rin (Harold Sakuishi)
Written by the mangaka of Beck, this is the story of Fushimi, a guy who dreams of being a mangaka. Along the way, he meets a girl named Rin who has strange powers. Is it coincidence that these two meet, or is there something more?
When I first started reading the series the faces bothered me, but eventually grew on me. After getting through that, I've come to like the series. I like Fushimi's journey to becoming a mangaka, though I didn't like his editor, Mutou, all that much. The sub-plot about Fushimi's sister is sad and depressing. I like his interactions with the other characters. I like Rin and how she handled the bullies at her school. As for Fushimi's manga (I wonder how many other "manga in a manga" series there are), I think it's okay. I feel that it might become a sort of parallel to the story at some point, but that's just a feeling. |

Asuna is the route to hell, but it's a comfortable hell with less complication, so Norito might end up wishing he chose this route. Problem is this route leads to stagnation. That's what Lu-san was warning him about. Asuna is a comfortable hell while Rin is a rocky heaven.

Maybe that's what she'd like to think.
But seriously, I don't think there's an actual choice. Norito will ultimately go for the girl he likes, regardless of what's most convenient for his work and whatnot. Figuring this out is part of his character development, I think.
