I got goosebumps after that ending especially with the "unanimous decision" with the beheading punishment.
Also Munechika is such a brave character. I have tremendous respect for what she's done this episode.

the episode is bland and again. something is missing from the game but I don't care anymore. Its good enough to watched but I feel that its rushed. From the tea scene, to the rallies and the punishment. All shouts out as set up but Raiko is right, it could be also a reverse set up but Oshutoru is 100% innocent so who knows.
how many episode are allowed? 24 or 26? Lots of things are happening but I don't think that it would all be tied up with the number of episodes left.

I wish Tsukuru could have sunk the ship too. But whatever, at least one of those invader got captured/killed. Can anyone that play the game confirm or deny it? I have searched but did not find the answer.
I guess Karma is a bitch. You went and invade other countries, now your own country get or will get torn to shit.

If Oshutoru wanted to take over he'd just manipulate Anju and then marry her down the road. It's such an obvious setup that I frankly think less of everyone in that room that isn't conspiring against Oshutoru for falling for it. Quote:

Yeah, Raiko became really suspicious when he insisted on this. Raiko is supposed to be really intelligent, but to even suggest someone as intelligent as Oshutoru pull off a suicide assassination attempt is not too believable. On top of this, it seems really off with the "unanimous" decision by the Eight Pillar Generals. There is no way all of them would agree to this, unless they are truly quite foolish. There is something really wrong going on. Although I feel the Yamato forces got what they deserved, to be fair, the fault fully lies with Yamato's emperor. He ordered the invasion, so blame squarely lies on his shoulders.

I don't understand. I thought Tuskuru's plan was to stop Yamato without pissing them off too much. Why, then, do more than harry the retreating forces? Why threaten to sink their ships?
Or did they want to capture Munechika? For her mask? |

they probably didn't kill her but just capture her but watching anime alone. Its kinda understandable if you ask me. They are invaders of their land. They are just legibly defending their land. Munechika is still standing in tuskuru's land and even the boat. Its within their rights to pursue and drive them away.
I even understand the hostage thing last episode. I don't understand completely the hot air balloon explanation but, really. It would be easy to be shoot down by archers and Kurou and Benawi just let them be. They just stand there atop the storage house and see them flew off. Even though they could be shoot down.

I hope Munechika is alive.
My list of suspects: - Woshizu-guy - Honoka -Assassin(from maybe Tsukuru or those bandits they driven off) -Emperor himself Funny the shock of losing the Emperor didn't affect Haku much, but Oshutoru was a BIG shock! Time to put that thinking cap on, Haku! |

Damn, quite a lot happened this week. Shame that anime has seriously started to diverge from the game, but what can you do? Adaptations don't have follow the source closely afterall.
Now with happened to the Princess I seriously doubt Tusukuru's behind the Emperor's murder. This is beyond excessive. At first I thought that Mito was either killed by a Tusukuru assassin to halt the war and prevent Iceman's reawakening or by a third party/outsider for his knowledge. But with the Princess poisoned and near death this is sounding politically motivated now. But question is who gain anything from besides the Eight Pillars who directly under his command? As Munechika hopefully she's alright. Frankly capturing or killing her was pretty short-sighted when her army was retreating beyond their borders willingly. If Tusukuru's aim was to simply repel the invasion and hope Yamato won't return later now that the war's motivating factor is gone then this wasn't a good move. Because even more important than Munechika herself is the Mask itself. There is no way they are gonna Tusukuru keep what essentially a holy artifact to them. It gives Yamato new justification for later warfare down line without the Emperor. Assuming that they eventually sort out their own internal affairs. Last edited by Iron Maw; 2016-02-27 at 20:26. |
