Honestly, previews should go into the episode threads because when someone clicks on an episode thread, they automatically know the topic is going to be this episode. So I think here is the better place -- with spoiler tags, sure.

Excellent! brilliant!, these 2 words are perfect to describe this episode. Subaru is going deep into the darkness with all this massacre, Rem... why.... WHYYYYYYYYYYYY
The animation, music and how the characters showed their feelings was literally perfect. Amazing episode. |

Holy shit. It will take me some time to process this episode, but that was amazing. If there is one thing this series gets right is the choreography and scene composition of high drama segments. You can feel the character's despair bleeding from the screen.

What the hell... Kirito is Betelgeuse!
I had no idea Matsuoka could act like that. Was definitely impressive, always good to see a VA work in a the different than the norm. Sold how much terrifying he is. I echo everyone's sentiment here, though I'm less surprised at WF knocking it out of the park. They been on point in the adaptation for most part. Last edited by Applehell; 2016-07-10 at 13:55. |

HOLY SHIT!!!! This was just... i'm crying
I really hope Portugal wins the Euro final tonight otherwise i think i will not be able to recover from what i saw..lol Plus, Subaru did not reset before the quarrel with Emilia. Not only time looping can fuck up your mind, sometimes it can't undo the most convenients scenes. This author indeed have balls to risk that! I'm surprised. And that Betelgeuse guy.. i can't even tell if he is scary or funny but he definitely is a terrific villain! |

Pretty amazed about the focus on Rem and Subaru these last couple of episodes. Actually, before the current set of loops, Subaru took the typical MC route in terms of not really acknowledging Rem's feelings. It was really nice to be given minute details that add on the mystery(Betelgeuse, the mysterious being at the end), but give Subaru a clear vision on just how much Rem loves him. And now that he realizes that, seeing him return those feelings at the end of the episode was certainly endearing =03! Makes me respect Rem/Subaru as a couple more than Emilia, though I know what the end-game result will be, I always greatly appreciate when the MC acknowledges and returns the affections of others NOT the main girl(granted he had to go through time loops to do it, but I'll take what I can get =03).
