Don't ya want to wait for a bit when they release a version 2.0.
After all, this was the case with Macross Ace Frontier, followed by not-a-sequel sequel Triangle Frontier and lastly followed by version 2.0 Ultimate Ace Frontier... I have all three and I feel cheated. The best addition to the last game was academy mode, but that was it, nothing else changed. At least VFX-2 had a superior engine to VFX... - Tak

I don't know if I'll be able to get the game, myself.
Anyway, the first online preview has been posted.

Anyway... I just don't understand why it always has to be a lock-on fest. All major Macross games are the same way, not to mention your alleged wingmen in the game amount to nothing. Though you still get to pick your wingmen, its nonetheless a pointless exercise.
With so many characters in the Macross-verse, they ought to introduce a level of RPG style character development. Or develop a strategy title. - Tak

I liked all the Macross games for PSP, I mean they weren't anything special but they were fun at least and had a good selection of Valkyries and characters, my only problem with this one is that it's Vita exclusive, they should have made it for both the PS4 and the Vita (because I don't have a Vita and don't want to buy one just for this game).

Ya know, its kinda sad but I get more excited when I play Macross valkyries through SRW games. Nothing beats Basara doing a group dmg boost during a tough fight. Despite how much I loathe the character.
Playing these sims are fun to a point. But pretty soon you feel like you are the only one flyin n' fightin. - Tak

Yeah, I do. It's called massive letdown and disappointment because she was my most anticipated Macross Delta character since the trailer. The same thing happened to Shouko of Valvrave (but at least Shouko was somewhat a decent character once). Frankly speaking, I consider Mirage the worst heroine of Macross. She's even more boring than Sara Nome.
