Basically no change. I don't remember the Mother ever being mentioned meeting him again (and basically believes that he's not her son), and the Sister is still resents/hates him for disappearing and the family splitting up due to his disappearance. It seems the new translator is translating the chapters in the order the author released them while the previous ones were translating in chronological order.
I wonder if there was any specific reason for the author to translate outside the chronological order.

Oh you're right. The older updates are gone. Ahh, why? There are some different chapters from before since the translations start from arc 3 instead of 1 and 2 from before. But at least, hey, you guys get to read something new and not retranslated again and again.

Finally, going back to reading this, and it's hard. Chapters are super long. Feel like I'm trying to read 'Sayonara Ryuusei...'. Still have 21 chapters to go with the School trip arc with 45 total. Only saving grace is that some of the chapters between 4-60 & 4-70 seems to be surprisingly short.

Either way, so much shit happens in a span of 2 days.

Not just that. A high ranking holy woman of the church is also looking for him. She's blind but has the ability to see people's souls or something similar. She finally managed to get a piece of what she believes to be Masquerade's blood and she's about to use her ability to determine is he's good or bad and to track him down, much to the regret of the ninja like person that was trying to take that piece away from her because they don't want the church to keep bothering Shinichi. Chapter end before she's about to find out though. Shinichi thinks something is going on over in that side he's been dreaming about it lately, but it's not like he can do anything about it.

But reading more and more, too much is happening in 2-3 days.

After finally saving the little boy, they head back to the inn, eat, and MC gives Tomoe an exoskeleton he personally modified. Next Chapter, she and Ryou are kidnapped. Cause when it rains it pours. They wake up, realize it was Tomoe's club mates who did it, because 1. They are actually supposed to be her guards and 2. they considered it too dangerous to keep her next to MC, because he scared the ever loving shit out of them when he was interrogating them(Thought they were spies, was utterly disappointed when he learned the truth.)
Eventually a huge fight broke out between Tomoe and some asshole bigot? exorcist,(Though about about 40% Tomoe's fault since she and her guards/friends did instigate the guy.) But anyway, So she's basically wiping the floor with his ass when he gets pissed to the point of bring out gashadokuro. So she brings out her newly gifted exoskeleton. That makes her look like a shrine maiden. Then proceeds to exorcise them. Asshole gets mad and scared when some shady person gives him a cursed sword. He uses it and because a demon or so and Tomoe realizes she fucked up and should have just knocked him out instead of getting cocky. So now Her, Ryou, her guards/friends, and the other people in the exorcists' place join forces to stop the asshole before he gets out and hurts normal people.
It reaches a stalemate when Masquerade(MC) pops out of no where and offers a "hand". Which he points out is a hint for them in this fight. They think it means they have to chop off asshole's hand but MC sighs and deducts points. He then precedes to walk up to the asshole, verbally berate him, and offers a handshake. Absorbing the cursed sword because MC is basically highest tier of curse affinity which they've known and personally witnessed in the last arc(Having an evil god in you tends to help with that.).
With the incident over, out comes the leader of all the exorcists: Tsuchimikado Mikoto, appearance in her min 20s with all smiles. MC makes fun of her and her name a little while Tomoe and Ryou tell him to at least try to be a bit more respectable. Since to them she's probably the one of the only good people in the exorcists bunch. At which point MC stops and it's revealed that he and Mikoto were having a mock battle in the air with a dragon and tiger and no one noticed until they looked up and decided to stop and get down to business.

So the person that handed the cursed sword over? MC caught them, revealed their face, with everyone thought was the daughter of another exorcist family. All except MC and Mikoto. MC then revealed her second face(First time it was covered in black cloth, second time it was like a hollywood makeup mask.) And it's revealed the person was Gastrean! SHOCK. Another shock? Mikoto herself isn't even in her 20s, she may look lik it, but she's really 115 years old! Anyway, so MC hands it over to Mikoto for interrogation and they wait inside for news. and such. Sheesh, I'm trying to keep this summary short and it's still long.

Anyway, Once Mikoto comes back Tomoe, Ryou and the 3 stooges(Tomoe's clubmates/guards assigned by Mikoto) leave for another room, and MC tone changes. That slight joking he was doing with the Tomoe, None of that. Just cold and indifference. He slashes space, basically getting rid of the people spying in on the conversation by making them blind for 3 months then pretty much turned the room into a different dimension of pure darkness so no body will interrupt. And he had one question, 'Why didn't you help them out? You were there way before it got that bad. I know you were hiding, I was watching you the entire time.' And guess who interrupts to ask the same question? Tomoe's dead mom.
YUP. Seems her soul is in the sword Tomoe uses. So she's watching over her daughter.
So after some small chit chat they get back to the main question. What the fuck where you doing just watching?
Mikoto throws the question right back as MC since MC was their the entire time even before her(Which he admitted before). But Tomoe's mom answered that. He's their teacher/master. He was gonna let them fight to help their growth and only offer assistance when they really needed it. Which he did. Twice. All while Mikoto was standing there. SO AGAIN, what the hell are you planning. She just keeps up her smile until MC points out he already knows and just spill it out or he'll do it for her and he won't skimp on the uglier details. At which points she admits the truth. She's sick of the entire exorcist clan. Backwards ways, pompous attitudes, so left them go wild in the hopes that Tomoe would just wipe the place off the map. It's not even specifically about Tomoe. She's been planning this since before her mom was excommunicated. She'd been letting the branches go wild because she figured they would self destruct and now that Masquerade is here, it's the end and her plan's a success. Because Masquerade is a machine, he must correct this, and when he gets rid of her it will cause the clans to crumble. So MC goes into a story about how he had to clean up a mess of a friend of his. How this friend came into a town one day, beat up the bad guy and left. And due to that it left a power vacuum causing the town's order to deteriorate even worse. Because as bad as that guy was, he was keeping the worse guys in check. So MC had to go around to various nations and get them to help. Basically, point it, Don't get cocky little girl, I'm willing to bring everyone in to fix the problem. And you DON'T want that.

He then proceeds to bite his thumb and place a drop of blood on her(Did I mention he revealed his true form to her a little earlier, mostly because it was gonna be obvious due to how Ryou and Tomoe were acting anyway if they investigated), this causes pain for her, and then he reveals that he made her his vassal! REJOICE FOR YOU ARE IMMORTAL! And not that stopping the time of your body stuff either. Unless I will you, you can't die. Go ahead, cut off you arm, turn of the technique that stops your body's time, Whatever!
And she does just that and watches her arm regrow and realizes she fucked up. She messed with someone she shouldn't mess with.

Now if she wants to die, she needs to fix the exorcists. Doesn't care how, just do it. You aren't getting away with just nuking the entire chessboard. Besides, you have an immortal body. So you can just settle them down with force.

After that arc:

Next mini-arc is pretty much a recollection of the past. How Shinichi first meet the princess, the hero and the maid squad. Just like the title says and just like it's been hinted at through the WN. First contact wasn't very happy. It was without a doubt the worst way to meet someone. How bad? Well, the hero is out a night heading into a some plains because he needs some space to train seriously otherwise he'll damage something. He sees a hooded boy with two bigger beings with ears. He thinks OH SHIT, THE BOY'S GONNA GET EATEN! I HAVE TO HELP. And quickly kills the two beings in a swift surprise attack. And checks on the hooded boy. Said boy then proceeds to pin him down to the ground in anger when the maids pop up and attack, which he uses the hero as a shield. Then the chief maid and princess pop out. But that's just more lamps to the slaughter as the boy proceeds to wipe the floor with everyone. Once everyone except the boy(MC) is unable to fight, it's then revealed that not only were the 'monsters' killed not trying to hurt the MC, they were Youko's parents. So Youko's out for blood, but our MC ask her to let him hand this. MC then proceeds to mentally break them. By explaining that:
1. The 'Monsters' hero killed are considered divine beasts. Very strong, but very peaceful. Normally, he won't have a chance, But considering he was from another world, the characteristics of his weapon, that their guard was down, and he showed no killing intent(Mostly because his primary thought was OHSHITGOTTASAVEHIM), he managed to kill them.
2. Because they are very strong and peaceful, the people of this world revere them, and it's HIGHLY looked down to attack them, not that you'd win. Too the point where if you did manage to kill one, nations would hunt you down like a pimp to his ho. And since hero represents a nation, this isn't something that would end just by handing his head over on a pike. They very nation is gonna get seriously hurt by this, probably even a war. Especially since they have an enemy they are currently in a cold war with, the holy church. This would be the perfect JUST CAUSE needed to start a war.
3. These divine beast also tend to settle down, and the settled down area because under their protection. The town next to the area doesn't need much defense from monsters due to their protection ether. But not that they are dead, those monsters are gonna eventually find out and start getting more active.
4. Also two smaller nations were seperated by the area under said protection. One of those nations tends to like to expand, but said Divine beasts being in the area put a stop to that immediately. But they're dead, so that may change now, THANKS HERO!

And the thing is. It's not even all the hero's fault. Some of it goes to the princess and her maids. for not INFORMING THE HERO ABOUT THIS. Seems like the princess summoned him and used him to get out of being used by others in a war of inheritance. She she used him as a reason to leave the kingdom, and then kept him ignorant to ruin her own reputation so that those who kept supporting her regardless of her will would stop and her sister would succeed. But it backfired here because he did something that would not only affect her reputation but the entire nation. CONGRATS!

Note that I'm actually skimping on the details. That's how much shit down here. Still got 3-4 more chapter to go. 4-84 may go back to the present now.

They think it means they have to chop off asshole's hand but MC sighs and deducts points. He then precedes to walk up to the asshole, verbally berate him, and offers a handshake. Absorbing the cursed sword because MC is basically highest tier of curse affinity which they've known and personally witnessed in the last arc(Having an evil god in you tends to help with that.).
With the incident over, out comes the leader of all the exorcists: Tsuchimikado Mikoto, appearance in her min 20s with all smiles. MC makes fun of her and her name a little while Tomoe and Ryou tell him to at least try to be a bit more respectable. Since to them she's probably the one of the only good people in the exorcists bunch. At which point MC stops and it's revealed that he and Mikoto were having a mock battle in the air with a dragon and tiger and no one noticed until they looked up and decided to stop and get down to business.

So the person that handed the cursed sword over? MC caught them, revealed their face, with everyone thought was the daughter of another exorcist family. All except MC and Mikoto. MC then revealed her second face(First time it was covered in black cloth, second time it was like a hollywood makeup mask.) And it's revealed the person was Gastrean! SHOCK. Another shock? Mikoto herself isn't even in her 20s, she may look lik it, but she's really 115 years old! Anyway, so MC hands it over to Mikoto for interrogation and they wait inside for news. and such. Sheesh, I'm trying to keep this summary short and it's still long.

Anyway, Once Mikoto comes back Tomoe, Ryou and the 3 stooges(Tomoe's clubmates/guards assigned by Mikoto) leave for another room, and MC tone changes. That slight joking he was doing with the Tomoe, None of that. Just cold and indifference. He slashes space, basically getting rid of the people spying in on the conversation by making them blind for 3 months then pretty much turned the room into a different dimension of pure darkness so no body will interrupt. And he had one question, 'Why didn't you help them out? You were there way before it got that bad. I know you were hiding, I was watching you the entire time.' And guess who interrupts to ask the same question? Tomoe's dead mom.
YUP. Seems her soul is in the sword Tomoe uses. So she's watching over her daughter.
So after some small chit chat they get back to the main question. What the fuck where you doing just watching?
Mikoto throws the question right back as MC since MC was their the entire time even before her(Which he admitted before). But Tomoe's mom answered that. He's their teacher/master. He was gonna let them fight to help their growth and only offer assistance when they really needed it. Which he did. Twice. All while Mikoto was standing there. SO AGAIN, what the hell are you planning. She just keeps up her smile until MC points out he already knows and just spill it out or he'll do it for her and he won't skimp on the uglier details. At which points she admits the truth. She's sick of the entire exorcist clan. Backwards ways, pompous attitudes, so left them go wild in the hopes that Tomoe would just wipe the place off the map. It's not even specifically about Tomoe. She's been planning this since before her mom was excommunicated. She'd been letting the branches go wild because she figured they would self destruct and now that Masquerade is here, it's the end and her plan's a success. Because Masquerade is a machine, he must correct this, and when he gets rid of her it will cause the clans to crumble. So MC goes into a story about how he had to clean up a mess of a friend of his. How this friend came into a town one day, beat up the bad guy and left. And due to that it left a power vacuum causing the town's order to deteriorate even worse. Because as bad as that guy was, he was keeping the worse guys in check. So MC had to go around to various nations and get them to help. Basically, point it, Don't get cocky little girl, I'm willing to bring everyone in to fix the problem. And you DON'T want that.

He then proceeds to bite his thumb and place a drop of blood on her(Did I mention he revealed his true form to her a little earlier, mostly because it was gonna be obvious due to how Ryou and Tomoe were acting anyway if they investigated), this causes pain for her, and then he reveals that he made her his vassal! REJOICE FOR YOU ARE IMMORTAL! And not that stopping the time of your body stuff either. Unless I will you, you can't die. Go ahead, cut off you arm, turn of the technique that stops your body's time, Whatever!
And she does just that and watches her arm regrow and realizes she fucked up. She messed with someone she shouldn't mess with.

Now if she wants to die, she needs to fix the exorcists. Doesn't care how, just do it. You aren't getting away with just nuking the entire chessboard. Besides, you have an immortal body. So you can just settle them down with force.

Spoiler for Worst Encounter:

Next mini-arc is pretty much a recollection of the past. How Shinichi first meet the princess, the hero and the maid squad. Just like the title says and just like it's been hinted at through the WN. First contact wasn't very happy. It was without a doubt the worst way to meet someone. How bad? Well, the hero is out a night heading into a some plains because he needs some space to train seriously otherwise he'll damage something. He sees a hooded boy with two bigger beings with ears. He thinks OH SHIT, THE BOY'S GONNA GET EATEN! I HAVE TO HELP. And quickly kills the two beings in a swift surprise attack. And checks on the hooded boy. Said boy then proceeds to pin him down to the ground in anger when the maids pop up and attack, which he uses the hero as a shield. Then the chief maid and princess pop out. But that's just more lamps to the slaughter as the boy proceeds to wipe the floor with everyone. Once everyone except the boy(MC) is unable to fight, it's then revealed that not only were the 'monsters' killed not trying to hurt the MC, they were Youko's parents. So Youko's out for blood, but our MC ask her to let him hand this. MC then proceeds to mentally break them. By explaining that:
1. The 'Monsters' hero killed are considered divine beasts. Very strong, but very peaceful. Normally, he won't have a chance, But considering he was from another world, the characteristics of his weapon, that their guard was down, and he showed no killing intent(Mostly because his primary thought was OHSHITGOTTASAVEHIM), he managed to kill them.
2. Because they are very strong and peaceful, the people of this world revere them, and it's HIGHLY looked down to attack them, not that you'd win. Too the point where if you did manage to kill one, nations would hunt you down like a pimp to his ho. And since hero represents a nation, this isn't something that would end just by handing his head over on a pike. They very nation is gonna get seriously hurt by this, probably even a war. Especially since they have an enemy they are currently in a cold war with, the holy church. This would be the perfect JUST CAUSE needed to start a war.
3. These divine beast also tend to settle down, and the settled down area because under their protection. The town next to the area doesn't need much defense from monsters due to their protection ether. But not that they are dead, those monsters are gonna eventually find out and start getting more active.
4. Also two smaller nations were seperated by the area under said protection. One of those nations tends to like to expand, but said Divine beasts being in the area put a stop to that immediately. But they're dead, so that may change now, THANKS HERO!

And the thing is. It's not even all the hero's fault. Some of it goes to the princess and her maids. for not INFORMING THE HERO ABOUT THIS. Seems like the princess summoned him and used him to get out of being used by others in a war of inheritance. She she used him as a reason to leave the kingdom, and then kept him ignorant to ruin her own reputation so that those who kept supporting her regardless of her will would stop and her sister would succeed. But it backfired here because he did something that would not only affect her reputation but the entire nation. CONGRATS!

Note that I'm actually skimping on the details. That's how much shit down here. Still got 3-4 more chapter to go. 4-84 may go back to the present now.

he already have beaten her before; if i'm not wrong, if i'm, someone can correct me later, but i'm sure they have fought before and this is the reason why she is stalking him, she is a battle maniac;
hell "when" he was going to collect the demon lord blood, to use to open the vault, he have beaten her again at that small fight at that time.
but the main problem is not that:
the main problem is that if she comes out; they will "know" that there is another world out there, and mainly that world is a very very "hardcore" version of the one they know/live. her status will be very OP we are talking here about all A+ and a few ones like physical strength S, since she is a very muscle brain , and this would have their own implications in their "current Culture" and on their entire plan to "let's exchange culture " that they doing right now, if one person with all A can more or less fight a army by them self or destroy a few cities , just think about a entire family(demon family) and many other players who lives in that world who have similar status.
it would complete break the current status quo, and would show the entire earth the shit they are doing, with those "let's pretend" to be super heroes, because most of them do not even know how to "really fight", they just take the power from granted, and try to use brute force on everyone on win, we have very good amount exposure about it: they complete trust the status and try to use their "superiority" in power(mana) to win against anyone with lower status, at the current translated chapter you can even read the monologue from MC, about how they fight.
