Mirai Nikki Redial. Data Transfer
I believe I'm the first one to start a post about the OVA sequel, which I finally watched.
Well, the OVA delivered what it promised to resolve at the end of the TV series. Spoiler for Not too short summary:

nice concept, but it was badly executed
just watched it. It got me to its first episode, but it went spiraling downward as it goes.
MC's really annoying and most of the players were more emotional rather than logical though I liked Yuno's twisted behavior. It could have been waay better if the show was more logical and thrilling and not centered on Yukiteru. I'd actually prefer if it was centered on an awesome third party character who will break the game using deducting skills and sneaky tactics to outsmart diary handers. Yes, I'm calling out the most underused and underrated character: Akise-kun. He would really make a very interesting MC in this kind of anime (and drop that yaoi BS with Yukiteru), just imagine: The Observer that went rogue and decided to make the matters at his own hands and when he learns his true identity, he overcomes death and takes place over God and ends the killing and suffering. |
