Great episode. I rewound the video message a few times to get everything, and the VP was surprisingly sensible. He still pushes heavy lifting onto junior teachers, so a incredibly well rounded character for his screen time. Machi is so mature and cute. X |

I love this beautiful episode so much (damnit onion ninjas I'll get you someday!), and it really hits the nail regarding the exact nature of just what discrimination is: it's not always about treating a person according to their differences, it can also apply to ignoring those differences as if they weren't an integral part of that person, as if trying hard to treat that person "normally" because they're different. That this episode manages to so easily get that point across in an easy to understand yet respectful way is something I've only seen in a handful of media that handles social differences like that (such as Katawa Shoujo).
I also like how they make the Vice Principal someone who has an actual, rational point; I had thought that they'd make him the person that while factually correct, will make your emotions hate him. Instead, he's stern, but is correct on all points when it comes to the point that no rational person can argue with his points. Still of course that doesn't mean that the problem has no solution, and upon seeing that solution for himself the Vice Principal retracts his statement, perhaps upon the same realization that everyone else has come upon, that in order for the Demis to stop relying on Takahashi, everyone else must step up their game. Such a masterfully well-done episode

BTW this reminds me that I've just started reading "A silent voice" yesterday which is exactly about these issues in dealing with disabilities - though in that case discrimination and bullying are far more integral parts of the story and the overall mood isn't quite as lighthearted as this one. KyoAni just made a movie of that, but if you are a CR premium subscriber you can also find the manga there.

Episode 12 (finale)
LOL, Hikari and her white cape while trying to act like a vampire is hilarious. (I got a little Steins;Gate vibe from that) Cute to see the girls play in the pool together. The brief moment between Sakie and Tetsuo was also amusing. The info dump about Dullahans is interesting. I like how this show always explores demi-humans in some way related to culture or ideas from the real world. Pretty fun show overall. I liked the majority of the characters and the show did a decent job at selling its comedy.

Ep 12 (End)
For me I thought the adaptation was extremely well done. I liked the anime original material sprinkled in here and there, and on the whole it felt like an enjoyable and consistent narrartive that was engaging every single episode without a break. I have no complaints whatsoever with it. (And the ED was definitely one of my faves of this season.) I would give it a 8.5-9.0 / 10.

Episode 12
This didn't feel like a good enough finale, but it was ap pretty fun episode. Hikari with her white cape lol. Takahashi was trying his best to get away before Sakie gets ready to get into the pool but he ended up having to see that sexy body. Sakie showing her bikini was like saying "death to Takahashi" lol. That sexiness. Liked how Takahashi said that he wouldn't respond in kind if any of his students confessed to him. They're kids and his students, nothing more than that. And that's how a teacher should be. Lol when Sakie was telling him that she's neither a kid nor his student and Takahashi's like "ok". Overall I liked this show. It did a good enough job overall. The focus on the Demi-chans, the comparisons with what the stories say and what the reality of things are, the attempts to answer some questions which come to mind regarding their natures, they did them quite nicely. However, despite all that, I'd call this wasted potential. While they did some nice stuff, they were capable of far more with such a premise. They took the safe way out of many issues so as to not get too serious or something. Yuki's problem was best depicted here and I loved it. They wasted Machi's romance, Sakie's past, stuff related to Hikari. They could have done so much more here but didn't. In any case, I still liked what they did here, though I wished they had realized their full potential. |

i will give this serie a 8 /10
was a really good slice of life and info about "supernaturals" and all my only real complain was which aways a serie with a real good potential is a "little wasted" in being focused too much on moe/hot girls the anime do a good job trying to explore all the 4 supernatural and having a "normal life" or let me say what could be x-man if we take away all the prejudice and racism and action and let just the slice of life go and everyone live on a dream place where noone gona look bad at you if you are "different" it's something good and all but still the fact which "only girls" are show will be my main problem, this really still make the anime look a little to "otaku" for what he could be, i really would like to see more others type of supernatural and not all og them being "female" this make looks like all the demi are aways girls or maybe girlish look guys(in the case of the misterious police partner), but the serie still do a good job in intertaining and not real big complain or issue, just the serie could be better if was more focused on the demi and showed more demi and also male demis like the teach have to helping then but sine the name of the serie and ofcourse the source i know this never gonna happen and i'm fine i just feel which could be better if it was explored on the other way, but still a good serie, enjoyed.

2nd season never. But at least I got the manga on-going which is nice. I liked the final, Hikari trying to bs her way out of being tardy for the third day to avoid cleaning the school yard while Iron man-sensei was just "hmhm, ok, now write your name here" shows those easy-going happy days will continue their whole high school life.^^

This series is a strong 8/10.
Perfectly adapted, everyone can really feel the message from this series, nice moments with everyone in the cast. Tetsuo is really the best guy in the series, he deserves the best after all what his consideration and way of thinking achieved, helping the demis in their daily life and solving their problems. Best girl? that's definitely Succubus-sensei, beautiful, funny, sexy and someone who is happy just by being around Tetsuo. I wish he catch the ride and finally notice that she's the right girl for him. I will miss this series. |

It was a really nice series. I must say that it was one of the few, that didnīt disappoint me from the "winter season series". Sakie-chan was simply amazing, and I am not surprised that sensei resistance was not enough I hope that they will end up together in the manga. But at the end makes me laugh that part when Hikari came late and Sensei force her to sign that paper
I will definitely miss this series. |

Yep, pretty nice end for this series =03. Honestly, when someone thinks "swimsuit episode", when the guy-to-girl ratio is 1:3+, you think typical s****y harem hijinks, but Demi-chan keeps everything on the tasteful side, never forgetting itself and what the show is about. Sakie moments were cute and precious, and the dullahan discussion was interesting =03. I like that it kind of shows Machi being interested in researching dullahans and their myths as she talked about last episode.
And I have to admit, at the end, I thought it was pretty unrealistic that NOBODY was around when Hikari arrived at school. I was like "Really? I guess NO ONE just conveniently happens to come around the same time Hikari does for that final sentimental moment, huh =02?" Come to find out, she was late X0D! Had me ROFL'ing! The show stayed true to itself to the end =03.
