This was very promising and 24 episodes makes me quite happy. Don't mind the cg if it means we can have more consistent animation than the first season. Nina is a great heroine, but the poor girl will have a lot of troubles with all the bishounen around.

Really nice to see this show return.
The first episode didn't waste much time getting right to the point either with the action and magical elements. Nina (the new girl) is cute. A bit girly in some ways but I think she has a charm to her character. Glad to see characters from the previous season return too like Kaisar and Rita. I hope to see others too but this definitely got me back into the franchise's vibe again.

Finally, after two long years, the wait is over!
Now the wait for next week's episode begins. Perhaps a little on the grimdark side with the new king turning on the gods and enslaving the demons, but overall this is off to an awesome start. |

Loved the first series.
Here I was thinking in the early stages of the episode, how cool if this rag demon was Favaro and he would be working in cahoots with Riza. I mean Favaro was a bounty hunter at first, however his fated meeting with Amira and 10 years could have changed things. Be kinda cool if he was against the shit thats happening now (humans attacking heaven, enslaving demons). And I relish in the stories where the hero who saved the world is declared an enemy by the humans he very much saved. However, after hearing rag demon talk to Kaiser and the white hair, I realize this isnt the case. I know who he is now ^_~ Spoiler for His Idenity ?:
But wow, I love dragons, and while a Red dragon as the new MC would be cool. But its apparent she goes berserk in that form and has no memory or control whatsoever. So not that impressive <.< But I wonder how this is going to be used in the story. Nice to hear its 24 episodes, but I really loved Favaro and Amira from the first series. I hope to see them again. Ending of the first series revealed Amira to still be alive. Gave me hope ^_~

Welcome back, Show. THis was damn nice return to form if I were to say.
Nina is fun. I am still angry at Amira being used as plot device and fridged, but Nina is great anyway. Hopefully Amira will enter the picture eventually because she deserves more than what she got in S1. Azazel being a Robin Hood freedom fighter kind of dude who saves non-humans from racist humans was fun twist. I guess it makes sense for his journey. In a way he is at fault for Bahamut and thus current state of the world Animation wise this was just glorious. I mean there are studios like PA Works or Bones who manage to make everything look brilliant, but MAPPA is just on whole other level. Relaly nice composition and cinematography, not to mention soundtrack. Also really great job with how animated and lively Nina is - lots of attention to the details. |

Ten years have passed and Kaisar looks exactly like he did in the first series. I can accept that Rita and Bacchus haven't aged, but Kaisar is just an ordinary human.
Nina certainly is building a harem of bishonen quickly, though I liked the mural artist the most. They're all too old for her anyway. Looks like Kaisar will be facing a moral crisis soon with his loyalty to his king placed on the line. Somehow I'm guessing Favaro will intervene and help Kaisar resolve things, but we'll see. Dragons who can change into human women are apparently the new thing in anime. Maybe Tohru will make a cameo appearance after she finishes cleaning Kobayashi's apartment.

I'm also extremelly happy this season will have 24 episodes. I felt season 1 was way too condensed with almost no time for the fights. I guess that will no longer be a problem now. With such cool animation and OST, nice characters and an interesting fantasy plot, this anime has everything to be one of my favorites in this season. Hype! |

Really happy to hear that this is going to have 24 episodes, since the only problem I had with the first season was that it was too short.
This was definitely one of the better first episodes I've seen, it felt twice as long as it actually was, in a good way. Nina looks like a great MC so far, and Vigilante Azazel is sure to be entertaining.
