Wait, whose underwear?
And seeing Masamune surprised like that. Did someone did that on purpose without him knowing? This Elf Yamada was told by Masamune's editor that she has writing errors, then what is Elf Yamada's editor was thinking? |

So all twelve-year-old girls love the D huh? That's news to me. And the suggestion that his little sister loved it too set off quite the explosion.
One thing I really hope is that our hero manages to write a story that makes the dumb little elf come begging for HIS autograph. Either that or go to her home and find that she has a copy of every volume of his work and absolutely loves it. After all, how else would she learn about Eromanga except by reading his books? Additionally, since when did they make string bikinis for the kids' section? I believe I recall a retail or brand once getting in trouble for making thongs or something, but still. Yeah, no matter what the excuse, girls that age should not be wearing undies like that. |

Yeah, Megumin is evil. She hits one mental explosion after another. Declaring on meeting that she loves penises EXPLOSION. Telling Masamune that Sagiri absolutely loves them too EXPLOSION. Declaring herself to be a major otaku because she loves One Piece EXPLOSION. Coming on to Masamune while Sagiri listens MEGA EXPLOSION! I wonder how her namesake would feel about her.

Masamune, tough luck he has many more things to do than just taking care of her deeply depressed sister that is doesn't look too depressed judging on her looks.
And he has to keep writing. But really, this situation is really awkward, as far as for him to use words like not wanting to be abandoned by Sagiri. |

When I heard Megumi is class iincho last episode, I wondered if she is the Ayase equivalent goody two shoes type, turn out she's a complete riot lol
I'm annoyed that the annoying Yamada Elf like Sagiri does the foot stomping a lot, glad Sagiri is not like the fake elf in personality and attitude Cute idea to have the ED show Sagiri doing her own laundry right after she tells Mune that she will start washing her own underwear lol Quote:

Am I hearing correctly? The word ********* being mentioned in my regular (non-hentai) animes?!? Wow, the last time I heard it was, I guess, Koe no Oshigoto, and it was a rather big deal in it.
What's happened to Japan? Will ***** be heard as well? What a smart Megumi-n here. Guess she's the Ayase of this series. Sagiri was brilliant as usual, but knowing she's supposed to be 12 just lowered a few of my points for her. Hasn't reached my preferred age yet. |

Eromanga-sensei. First Thoughts
When I first learned about Eromanga-sensei last year the title alone was deceiving, nevertheless, after reading the synopsis I didn't get the motivation to look forward to either the lgiht novel or the manga adaptation back then. However, at the start of this season when I began picking-up shows to watch I looked at the promo art for the anime and told to myself "why not", and, hence, I ended up choosing Eromanga-sensei.
Page I. My Little Sister and the Sealed Room This anime could very well become the winner of the season, because I can tell that what this shows delivers at what it excels are the interactions between Masamune and his little, step-sister Sagiri. However, the real créme is enjoying the funny dynamics that ensue in-between the two at finding out each others' identities: 1) Masamune being the author of the light novels that Sagiri is so much fond of, and 2) Sagiri being the eponymous Eromanga-sensei whose "lewd" illustrations entice Masamune with so much praise leading to embarrassing moments for Sagiri. How this turn of events will further affect their relationship as both professionals and family? Finding it out in future episodes will be a delightful journey for me to partake in. |

After watching the first two episodes I finally remembered that I had started the manga. Ended up dropping it because I found the story boring and more than one character annoying. So I'm out. Will check in here occasionally to see if the anime production tweaks some of those issues but after the first two episodes I don't have much hope.

Page 2. Class Rep with a Normie Life, and a Fearless Fairy
It was unwise of Masamune getting too carried away at describing the sort of individual his step-sister was when asked by Megumin, because he could had easily blabbered so nonchalantly about Sagiri being eromanga-sensei without being thoughtful on his choice of words.
Aside at the possibility that Megumin might be a cumbersome fella for Sagiri, next there's Masamune getting his title proposals getting axed by his editor, and having to fear at the potential prospect of Eromang-sensei leaving him for another author like Elf Yamada-sensei. But, at this point the Masamune remains too oblivious on the game changer being Sagiri holding unrequited feelings toward him, so his fears might be potentially baseless, IMO. |

Megumi is the villain of this season... for proposing the most evilest plan ever created... "cut off the internet"
another decent adaptation although they could deliver Masamune's impression toward Sagiri in front of Megumi in better way and Elf-sensei is as annoying as I imagined... next episode would be getting better and the opening and ending... dancing Sagiri... one of best imouto ever |

Something I've noticed is that the series is using ecchi shots without the actual ecchi part. For example when elv slammed her foot and the camera immediatly jumped between/behind her feet that was the perfect setup for a panty shot, then .. nothing happened. Not sure if I approve for leaving the ecchi out or disapprove because the shot composition is there in the first place, for now it's just strange and maybe that was the whole poit of it?

Episode 3:
Dang, that Megumi girl bought their entire class to try get Sagiri out of her home. Wow. Looks like this episode focuses on the house/mansion next to Masamune's. They try to build the overall suspense from the moment Megumi notices a shadow inside the home. Sagiri even hears piano music coming from that very home. If you ask me, that's actually slightly creepy. Really enjoyed the character chemistry between Yamada and Masamune this episode. I just find them more entertaining to watch than Sagiri and Masamune.
