Well, it's not the first time that it happened. Girls und Panzer Der Film was also finished 4 days before the premiere of the film on November 21, 2015, according to Tsutomu Mizushima's tweet as well. Besides, this is better than it being delayed like with what Actas had been doing with their last couple of anime. At least, he got to celebrate his birthday today(December 6) without anything to worry about(except for the work on the other 5 parts of Das Finale).

Technically in this case there's still delays between 'episodes'.... but because it's in film format, the delays are a feature and not a bug

But ummm, isn't that French tank outside the rules? Only a wooden mockup was built before the war ended. The first prototype wasn't built until 1946, and they didn't go into production until 1949 due to turret construction delays....fitted to 1946 hulls.

And well there was at least one Mark IV ("male") in service with the Royal Navy in the Great War and later used by the Home Guard in 1940.

Those 6 pounders aren't going to be much good...they should be about as useful as the 57mm gun on the Type 89.

So if these Booru tags are correct, the name of the Shark Team's captain (the pirate one with the cape) is Silver.

Also, the other members are named Flint, Rum, Valor and Cutlass, though I've yet to connect faces to the names.

Does the MkIV at least have the anime speed boost most of the tanks get? Even with plot armor I can't see it being very useful.

Yes. Considering the very limited showing of the movie (only 4 theaters in the whole of Tokyo), that figure is quite impressive. All schedules are fully packed. The Movie actually started showing in some theaters at Dec. 8 at 11 P.M. it ran through the night and into the next day. I was only able to get a seat at the 11:20 PM showing on the next day at Dec. 9. When I watched again on Monday Matinee the movie is still packed.

Yes, by GuP physics it was able to keep up with the other tanks when they're on the move.

I'll post here later on my Review and maybe some spoilers on the story.

Anyway, with Actas' reputation, episode 2 might come around during 2020 Olympics so I'm good.

But, srly. I usually go to Japan at least once a year, If there's a good movie I'd like to watch on those days it's a bonus. (I missed der Film by a month when they pulled it out)

I see. Helps that your flights are about the same length as from Seattle to New York, whereas mine are nearly double that and frequency of your flights are around twenty-eight times greater! Did they announce when the BDs would come out during the screening?
