Another one. Did Kishimoto or Kodachi explained why Sasuke never got a replacement for his lost left arm? I'm pretty sure it's some kind of selfredemption for the things he did in the series but it was never stated.

BTW, I found another image that I can't tell if it's fanart or not.
If it is legit I think the guy with the weird arm is the character Kishimoto wants to use for his next work. Heard he wanted some sort of advanced detective. Last edited by Mad Pierrot; 2017-10-13 at 18:52. |

Hi guys
I have 2 questions about the Naruto / Naruto Shippuden and Boruto anime series. 1- I'm about to start watching Boruto, but do they devote the first 20 or so episodes to the movies The Last: Naruto the movie, and Boruto movie, or I can start from the first episode ? 2- Is Chakra in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden the same as the Chakra in Indian religions ? Is it the same as this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakra Or is it based on it ? Or is it inspired by it ? Or is it a parody of it ? P.S: I asked this question on other forums but I thought I should ask here as well to get more information about the subject. |

The Last was never adapted into a special or anything like that. Boruto: Naruto the Movie WAS adapted into a saga that helped to expand the cast far more based on the development of the series.
From what I get, chakra is based on hinduism. Rinnegan already means "Samsara Eye" with the first word being a common trait often seen in hiinduism. Still, the series uses multiple mythologies. While Sasuke's Kirin technique appears to be Chinese, most of his other traits are related to Japan. For example, Sasuke's last name is based on the Uchiwa. Uchiwas were said to use to protect people from evil foxes (which explains on how he is related with Naruto). Jiraiya's characfter is also based on Kabuki by the way |
