Well, this last ep was WAY more cohesive than the 2nd half of the original anime's end. Seeing Kyo call Tohru by her name was a real heartwarmer (>,< ), but Yuki trying to close the distance to Tohru as well was interesting in its own light =03.
By the way, was that anime original material at the end of the original anime? Where Spoiler for spoilers for orig anime's end:
Either way, seeing one of my most adored adaptations remade was very great to watch and see the small(and sometimes, powerful) changes made to the story that made it have a sense of tension the original didn't have =03. Nevertheless, even though this argument is pretty much dead by this point, it still comes to mind; and that is, I still don't quite see the reason for the author's poignant cry about said changes as if the prev director altered entire arcs or something. Most of the material and characters were still basically the same, aside from the spoiler-texted comment above, if that was an actual thing.
