Looks like I beat Stark700 to yet another Manga Time Kirara announcement
Now, onto the real exciting news: earlier today, Yuru Camp's official Twitter account announced that the second season will begin airing in January 2021. They also included two key visuals in their announcement.

Perfect anime for a new year!
Production quality looks even better than the first season. Beautiful scenery. Great OP/ED. The first ep shoq me what I love about this anime again: Rin goes on camping + her interaction with Nadeshiko It's nice to see Rin on her first solo camping too.

It was a real treat to see Rin going on her first camping trip. Even an expert like her started somewhere (and of course, it was at that place) and made mistakes. I think this was the first time we saw her dad, I only remembered her mom and her grandpa.

Wow, this season looks even prettier than the previous one. Did they get a bigger budget to play with?
Seeing little Rin learning to camp is pretty great, but I especially loved that moment near the end of it when the music swelled up into one of the iconic themes from the first season. It's great to see the whole crew again. "Rin-chaaaaan!" Ah... hearing Nadeshiko call out to Rin really brings the whole thing home again. Heya Camp was nice, but it just wasn't quite the same. Also, I love the symbolism of the sun rising and light spilling into the scene as Nadeshiko hands the cup ramen to Rin. Everything about this is great, and it's just so wonderful to have this comfy series back once again. Yeah, I was thinking as I watched this that her father was new to us. Maybe they could afford more voice actors this time around? He sounds familiar, too... *checks ANN* Geeze, he's been in a bunch of stuff... Ah! Crusty from Log Horizon! That's definitely the same voice.

It's great to be back To kick the season off, I've gone ahead and located two locations of note this episode were the Minobu Post Office and the intersection where Rin and Nadeshiko meet up.
Overall, this episode was a nice return to the series from a narrative standpoint, showing the beginning of Rin's journey and what her novice camping days looked like. Finally, Rin's father showed up earlier in the Heya Camp OVA Sauna, Meal and A Three-Wheeler, explaining why Rin's usual Vimo 50 was replaced by a Tricity.
