The difference between Aisha and Norn's development seems to be huge. Norn is still being held by Zenith and sucking her thumb while Aisha is already doing housework at age 3. Could she be a Rudeus, a fellow reincarnate? It was revealed that 2 of the kids Rudeus saved went missing, so maybe one or both of them were reincarnated.

That's right. After Rudy saved Lilia from being kicked out, she swore that her child would be raised to serve him. Thus she raised her with a firm hand to be of service, and taught her that she would one day serve her brother, and until then she's to help her mother as a sort of mix between family member and servant (in the manga, she once chides a baby Aisha for crawling to Zenith more quickly than Norn did). So yeah, being raised with intent to serve another, she was much more thoroughly disciplined and it shows. Also, Lilia has experience with normal babies and how to raise them, while Zenith's only experience was never actually a real baby. It's fairly likely that a woman who knows what she's doing is going to raise a more mature child than one who doesn't even know that babies normally cry when they fall and hit their heads.

Philip explains that she resented Rudy for strutting about like he owned the place, while her own sons were taken away and brought up as someone else's children. We know Rudy's mentally 40 and never truly acted like you'd expect a child to behave, mature beyond his years and able to tutor her daughter in an eerie fashion. This impression is unlikely to endear Rudy to anyone, especially someone who already has reason to dislike him. However, at the birthday party, Rudy's mask finally "cracked" and he showed some emotion, missing his family with tears falling. This could suddenly spark the realisation in Hilda that Rudy is in the same position as her own children, stuck far away from their family and living among strangers. And all this time she herself has been acting the hateful adult creating an oppressive atmosphere, which is the complete opposite of what she'd want for her own sons. Thus, in a snap, she decides to treat him like her own instead, and immediately all the pent-up feelings she had for her missing sons came flowing out for Rudy. Or something.

Here is a translation of the comments made by the Mangaka of "Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?", relating to the Anime adaptation of MT.

I wasn't expecting to see Rudy's old body, but I guess in a mental landscape it makes sense that would still be his projection of himself. I also wasn't expecting him to converse with an eccentric CGI Man-God (does that make it the God of humans?) that finds him amusing and is following his adventures but apparently wasn't behind his reincarnation (rather, potentially, the Dragon-God). Things are getting more and more intriguing .
Rudy and Eris are transported to the Demon Continent and end up encountering demons, both the infamous Superd and even Roxy's village. It turns out the Superd aren't really the frightening and battle crazy demons the rest of the world thinks of them as, rather they were betrayed by Laplace who turned them berserk by giving them bad spears, causing them to kill off most of their loved ones. I kind of got a Native American/Ainu vibe from what we see of the Superd from Ruijerd, to be honest . Ruijerd seems like a really respectable, if stoic, Superd warrior, and he obviously cares a lot about children (probably because of what happened with his son). He's so far making for a dependable companion for Rudy and Eris, and Rudy can relate enough to Ruijerd's life of regret enough to want to help him in his efforts to improve the Superd's image . So...Ruijerd looks a heck of a lot like Sylphie, just without the red third eye on his forehead. Everyone keeps remarking how much Sylphie looks like a Superd. This can't be a coincidence, right? Maybe somehow her forehead gem was removed or hidden? Or she's only half-Superd or distantly related? Could she have been the child from 10 years ago that Ruijerd saved ? Eris had a believable emotional breakdown after waking up, but she recovered quick and struck up a friendship with Ruijerd, which was sweet (thank you Rudy for fostering inter-species relationships). And look at her flexing with that new sword . Rudy meets Roxy's mom and dad who look young enough to be her siblings. And was her dad voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi? It sounded like him. And Roxy is also in her 40's, which is probably the 20's for this demon race. I guess mentally that makes her more equivalent to Rudy compared to his other potential love interests . Rudy trying to get in with Roxy's family and is totally denied by her dad. Well, at least he didn't mention all the sexual harassment Roxy's been undergoing outside the village .

^ He just never took it seriously, I guess as is proper if a 10 years old child starts speaking about marrying your 44 years old daughter. And Roxy is far from a frail and easily harmable young princess. Though by this point I can't help but admire the prince for still trying even after being literally set on fire a couple of times. Also sucks to be Roxy when trying to find a partner. Because of her body, only children really take her as a potential love interest and she also has the disadvantage of being a demon to that.
And Eris is becoming cuter and cuter, she even stopped using random violence (she is still violent in recent episodes, but not once did Rudy not deserve it). |

They really got Hitokami's weirdness down with that CGI. Was wondering if they were going to go this route or a white version of "The Truth" from FMA. Glad they went this way, as even if it looks a little off-putting it really captures just how weird it is.

wow they cut a lot here specially some flashback, maybe they feel it could be too brutal, the vilage was much longer and more explanations.
for exemple the "spear" thing, you have a proper flashback in maga showing everything it is really brutal see then become enraged animals and killing beloved peoples, also to be more clear about the "spear", it is actually part of they body, they are born with a "tail" and that tail had that "trident" in the end, but over time as they grow tha tail "fall"(it's seens being temporary and only when they are still kids) then they get it and turn in a spear, this is why for then is so special, because it become a weapon for then which come from they own body,. also roxy dad we lost a lot of jokes and funny moments, at first roxy father didn't present him as her father, at first rudeo was thinking which he would be or a "lover" or a brother or a childhood friend" because he didn't know roxy race live this longer and don't age that much, they where somehow like the "hobbits" and elfs", they live long than humans and physically don't age as much as the humans, the most old person probably would look at worst being at what we could see as 60 in appearance also they size too, basically they really gonna look like "kids" or at best teenagers for most of they lifes not only in appearance but in size., going with the jokes again when he meets roxy mother he thinks which she could be her sister", he only learn about they being they parents near the end when rudy ask if roxy mother is her sister(he even try to hit on her angry the father), then is when he find out which they are her parents, then we lost some more jokes about him try to "get" on good terms with her parents and the father refusing as we saw a little in the episde.

@Blueknight78: Maybe some parts are saved for later usage in the future (that's why skipped/altered for now).
Keep in mind that they are going to make MT into a long running series with multiple Season's & Cour's. So, anything skipped could easily be used later on, based on how they arrange the plot.

Everyone in the village seems to accept Ruijerd without any problem. However when Roxy first mentioned the Superd to Rudeus she talked as if she never met one personally and she was firm in depicting them as extremely dangerous people.
Did Ruijerd only made contact with that village after Roxy left? Even then if Roxy had that negative idea of the Superd it means that everyone in the village was of the same opinion. It mustn't have been easy for Ruijerd to gain their trust.

From what I got from the episode, it has been 20 years since Roxy left the village. Ruijerd was hinted that he saved the girl in the village chief's hut about 10 years ago. Hence, that was probably when he came to the village and how he gained their trust. Also, have to love that the story is finally looking like it is picking up. The "god" looks fishy, and Rudy seems to think the god is not on the up and up.
