Kono Oto Tomare!
Summary: Since the graduation of the senior members of the club, Takezou ends up being the sole member of the "Koto" (traditional Japanese string instrument) club. Now that the new school year has begun, Takezou will have to seek out new members into the club, or the club will become terminated. Out of nowhere, a new member barges into the near-abandoned club room, demanding to join the club. How will Takezou be able to keep his club alive and deal with this rascal of a new member? **** This manga has been one I have been following for a while now ... it is another of the genre of kinda/sorta introducing an aspect of Japanese culture to contemporary readers (like Chihayafuru, Hikaru no Go, Hanayamata, etc.), and this time it is through the stringed instrument called the koto. Here is an example of a piece featured in the manga itself. Interestingly the publisher, Jump Square, commissioned a performance of one of the pieces played in the manga to give folks an idea of what is being the club's activities are striving for. Anyone else following this manga?

I am following it, but isn't there already a thread about this manga? or maybe I'm confusing it with something else.
Edit: I'm pretty sure I saw that video before, been posted somewhere else, I just can't remember... Sorry If I'm mistaken.

However - if something was already made and I missed it no problems - I will just merge the threads together. Oh yes - ch 20 was released just recently. ^^

I just found about this manga and read the whole thing in one sitting (raws too). I love it. It's about music but the setup if more like a sport series. It's kinda like Chihayafuru but without the annoying love triangle. It has a bit of romance but it's pretty subtle and no used for drama. The characters are really likeable, and the story gives proper attention to all of them.
This should get adapted to anime. I think it has what it takes to be pretty successful if done well.

I'm not feeling this art... I prefer the manga art.
This art just feels so generic tbh. Hell, Kurata doesn't even look like he's their senpai. Dude looks younger than both Chika and Satowa...
