Premise looks promising, it reminds me of my time in 2010s where I used to absurdly enjoy watching a lot of anime adaptations of browser or mobile games that often featured a large cast of female characters and are often action packed that I still miss greatly in spite of how heavily flawed some of them are.
The real tragedy is that those adaptations that happen to be self-contained stories tend to become more and more of a rarity.

The city's academies are divided into their own districts and are considered mostly independent.
The General Student Council acts as governing board to manage the academies as a whole. However, the group's ability to govern has come to halt since the mysterious disappearance of the General Student Council president. Countless issues have begun to surface throughout Kivotos in the absence of the president's leadership. To avoid disaster, the General Student Council requests assistance from the Federal Investigation Club, otherwise known as Schale. In fact, Schale is the city's newest club and the last to be approved before the president's disappearance. To accomplish its task, Schale relies on the guidance of a Sensei who can help them resolve the incidents around Kivotos. (Students are required to carry personal weapons and smart phones! Get a taste of the military action, love, and friendship the Academy City has to offer!)

It's based on a (gacha) mobile game developed by Nexon and published by Yostar Japan (for JP), and I think Nexon themselves for global (can't remember). I played JP version from day 1 to close to 9 months before dropping it. It just had its 2nd year JP anniversary today (at a Big Sight convention hall if I'm not wrong) with an on-site livestream as well.
The setting is in an Academy City made up of a number of school districts and the city is mostly managed by a council of students. The academy city and the prominent schools that appeared in the game have their own lore. Story-wise within the game, it's made up of a mix of slice-of-life and incidents of intrigue and violence that threaten the peace of their daily lives. Except for the player (a teacher), all other characters are female students. A decent game I would say, and can be counted among the top grossing ones with longevity potential since its monthly revenue does go beyond the million mark consistently. Incidentally, Bocchi the Rock's mangaka is also a fan of the game and had made some doujins herself. |

Comiket Manual already free from Touhou as the fanbase 'moved' to Reitaisai, its own Comiket. Since then Comiket Manual always featured currently prominent works on market. IIRC Comiket 93 is IM@S. Comiket 94 is Virtual Youtuber. Comiket 95 is Azur Lane. Comiket 100 is Uma Musume. As Blue Archive became Comiket 101 'face' that means it is the currently most active title in Japan.

I'm pretty happy about this one. Only got into the game semi-recently, but I think the story is good enough to build a good anime from.
Just depends on what kind of story they want to tell and where they want to keep the focus. Obviously some mobile game adaptations don't land at all. But coming off shows like Princess Connect Reive or Umu Musume, I'm feeling positive that this could turn out just fine. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this one.

I've been pretty obsessed with this game and its characters lately. I'm pretty excited for the anime to see all of my favorite characters get animated, but at the same time I hope they don't rush it or mess with the story too much. I'm also worried that Yostar Pictures won't be able to handle the animation very well being the small studio they are, especially if they plan to continue animating additional seasons of Arknights alongside this. Blue Archive is a big and important franchise, and it deserves a passionate adaptation that depicts it well and not just a low-effort cash grab adaptation that's made solely to capitalize on its popularity.

Yeah, I do that with some other games like azur lane and arknights and recentlly niko. I good for those who doesn't have time to spend in the game or are only interested in the story. |

I'm happy with the designs and the animation in the PV. The focus seeming to be on the characters from that first story arc is also a good sign. Really would like to have seen Sensei in it though. I think much like FGO, that's a main character they have to do right.
Still, I did like the trailer and I'm glad it is coming this spring. However it turns out, we're going to find out relatively soon.

The studios have to accept that players are their own character based on their choices and story. Sensei is pretty important in BA so removing him might result in another failure.
