I've read a couple of the arcs a while ago; pretty much like In/Spectre here. I got uninvested after a few arcs in, as I didn't find them as good as the first arc, but I'll be willing to give the series a try in animated form, assuming the arcs aren't long-winded like the last one in the first season of In/Spectre.
There are moments where those are focused on, but nothing crazy really. It's mostly used as a joke for tension breaking, though I wouldn't be surprised if they give it a little more attention because, well, it is an attention grabber .

Picked this one up more or less blind and I kinda like it, getting both Kyoko Suiri and Dark Gathering vibes so far. I'm not sure who the leads are just yet though... the schoolgirl from the beginning didn't really show up again. We'll see I suppose.

Great first episode. It really did a great job at adapting the material. Good, clean animation, music fits the ambiance of the series nicely, and just tight writing making sure every moment has a purpose. Finished the first story in one episode, so the pacing of 4/5 chapters/ep is pretty solid. Off to a good start and hope it stays that way.

Even if this is an ojouhoho girls' school licking floors is probably a bad idea...
I hope this show gets more traction I'm really enjoying it. Sumireko already might be my seasonal best girl.

The title Kamikakushi is more or less hinting the cause is due to both supernatural and personal reason. For realists, the cause of kamikakushi can be explained by abduction, escaping financial burden, escaping bad people, or accidents. The first case of kamikakushi in anime: The well endowed writer wannabe is absent from her workplace. If her kohai doesn't interfere, her life is half ruined. The kohai's sister seems to have more story. I am looking forward about the future development.

I understand the teacher's reason and even rin approved her conviction but in the end she was hurting the students and it was a matter of time until one of them died.
we got to see a little tease of the next case with the glasses girl at the end and we aren't done with the teacher, but it seems it will have wait because the next chapter looks like a not serious one with fanservice. I'm all for it. |
