Does the studio have material to tell the entire story? It's like the opposite of the rushed material we got with the reboot. Now, the staff will have to make it slow. I mean Flowers when "ended", Hana was even removed from the main cast in the sequels. Also, I'm still curious with what Takei did with Faust as he found happiness in death

Main cast revealed:
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...-debut/.195982 Seems Hana's personality was revised like Anna in the reboot considering they made him look cheerful rather than antisocial

The character designs of Yoh and Anna are kinda confusing me. Their hippies aesthetics from the finale were revised but they seem smaller than the time they met Hana in the original series

Just watched the premiere. I can't tell if the storyboards were missing or Takei forgot how to draw fights cos everything felt way too anticlimatic. Yoh vs Ren at least tried showing characters moving rather than hit like an RPG. It's like they wasted the budget on the sweet visuals.

Since the series got to Netflix, I decided to give it a second chance. However, it's hard to care sometimes. Obviously, the heart of the series so far is Hana's social life and how he accidentally becomes Yohane's best friend despite his antisocial skills. Still, the rest feels a bit rushed as I think the actual first meeting between Hana and his fiance was never adapted by this anime in contrast to the first manga oneshot. The animation goes from good to weird sometimes. The episode of the onis was strange to follow.

After finishing it, it really felt like the writer has no idea what to do. He set up a lot of conflicts and ended none. Kinda like D.Gray-man Hallow. The final episode also feels really forced even if it develops Hana's character for a second considering he doesn't know a thing of the people allying him with the exception of Yohane or his fiance.
