Plot:

Rick knows he became strong, but understimate to what degree initially and he gets more accurate idea of his strenght as he goes.

One of those fantasy adventurer who's super strong but somehow doesn't know it shows. With these it comes down to characters that are entertaining, and this shows potential in that regard.

Non isekai ore-tsue. Two things that stand out from other power fantasies are him being an ossan + his companions are even more tsue. The later one is kind of fresh. But can this show keep things fresh or funny without getting old? I don't have a lot of high hopes for this.

I didn't think we'd get two older beginning adventurer main characters that underestimate themselves coming out in the same season.

Looks like fun so far. I like stories of fantasy main characters underestimating themselves especially the cute, quiet female ones. Not sure how long it'll keep going like that, but even if it doesn't it still could be fun.

I just read a recent story where the isekai main character thought - I'd love to break the judging rank crystal at the adventurer's guild like they do in common stories, but I'm not going to do it because it'll attract the attention and my (lousy villain) father will want to investigate to see who this new powerful adventurer is.

So then the girl he was with broke it instead when he had his back turned.

I thought the OP was a good bit of comedy . Felt like a throwback OP of sorts. Something about it felt nostalgic anyways.

And in terms of the OP protagonist concept I kind of like this one. Because darn it...the man absolutely has earned every bit of power he's got . That party was absolutely insane. You don't need to overtrain him to that extent guys!

Only thing that might get old is if Rick goes the entire time not having a clue that he's reasonably powerful compared to the average person around him. But for now that's fine. His duel was actually a riot. Love how he almost figured it out and then this clumsy girl kept throwing him off with her chaotic screwups. Though wow she really almost got turned into paste!

Reanette seems nice. She should be able to manage this oddball protagonist and his bouts of utterly having no confidence .

this was fun, I enjoyed a lot and that ending with the others arriving with the menace music was hilarious.

the design are good and I like that it doesn't matter the age you can still chase your dream.
