Balirossa dreams of being a beautiful bride...a demon bride, that is! Complete with a black dress and exposed chest! And Ghozal is willing to conquer the entire world in her honor to mark their marriage! How romantic! And Balirossa REALLY doesn't want to unpack why she's having romantic dreams about the Dark One .
Though Rys can easily tell she's obviously lovesick, and the other girls are all in on talking about it, though it then transitions to Rys gushing about her husband like she always does. She can't help it! She loves him and loves talking about him too much . The Princess finally finds out that Flio was Banaza and gets a full understanding of how much her kingdom screwed up their one chance to get a true Hero...oh, and also the fake "Hero" and Tsuya have broken out of prison. As if she didn't have enough to worry about . The "Hero" and Tsuya are wanted fugitives and only Tsuya is willing to admit they're basically thieves and criminals at this point, and not particularly competent ones, because the "Hero" ended up stealing a treasure chest as his "hero" reward with just a water bag and a shovel. Good for hiding from their pursuers, but also just digging them into an even deeper hole than they're already in . Gholl isn't ready to invade Klyrode again and is prioritizing finding Flio, especially so that he can make sure his people are protected because he cherishes them so much. Though his brother Yuigarde sees that as weakness and seeks to become the TRUE Dark One, complete with his sexy succubus aid who also loves getting abused by him . Meanwhile Flio and Rys are just enjoying being out in town together and trying to get a lunch date, but the effects of the war are starting to be felt in town and are effecting local businesses . Dang Balirossa, I know you want to thank Flio and Rys for your rank up, but let the happy couple have some alone time! Though I guess now you have your own man back in your life . That's right, Gholl has finally reunited with Flio! And Balirossa, who has no idea how to handle her complicated emotions around him. Though no matter their feelings, the conflict between humans and demons is a tense one, especially because the very thing that makes demons demons repels humans. So it's almost impossible for there to ever be peace between them. Gholl has given them a lot to think about . If humans and demons can never truly co-exist together, it's practically a miracle that Flio has made a life with Rys, one he values even more now knowing just how complex the issues between their two races are. Ultimately, he just wants to be with Rys more than anything . Well, at least Tsuya got out of the hole and the audience got to enjoy her squirming to get up with her chest and fine behind...and the "Hero" got to enjoy the view too before he fell back down .

they really need to get rid of this annoying hero wannabe that keeps being a thorn in everyone's side. This is one common occurrence in these type of series.
Puts the farming isekai above this one for that just slightly since it didn't really have that.

episode 8:
Rhys getting sad when she saw the old woman shop closing down. I guess she's fully adapted living in a town with humans now. people in the castle realize that the person they banished is Flio. Feels like princess Elizabeth is looking for someone to blame, but she can't blame anyone, because she's also one of those who supported the golden fake Hero. and that was a bit heavy on the drama with Balirossa and Gholl during the meal. Gholl had to leave. looking forward to next week.

Well, at that time choosing Hero Gold-Hair seemed the only reasonable choice...but sending Banaza to death was going waaaaay too far. And even if the princess wasn't directly responsible, she's right that he has every reason to hold a grudge against the kingdom and now she has to face the consequences of that decision. She's actually lucky that Flio isn't the vengeful type (unless you harm his wife, of course), or else the kingdom would have to face a greater problem than a demon lord or a rogue djinn.

So now we meet Ghozal's mentally stunted brother. He may be a moron, but he sure knows how to pick an assistant. Super hot demon chick, even if she is a masochist lol. Speaking of hot, Balirossa in her wedding outfit was quite attractive. For someone that seems kind of prudish, that was quite the "absolute cleavage" design for the dress. Speaking of cleavage, I had a good chuckle when the douche hero's waifu climbed out of the hole
Yea, I seem to recall thinking how she was the only decent one there. Yep, checked the ep. She called out her dad for being a dick. Not that she actually did anything about it, like sending him reinforcements or something, but I guess at least feeling bad for him is better than nothing heh. |

So, the difference between human and demon is Malicium. Malicium is like Oxygen to demon, but it is like nuclear radiation to human. Human's purification magic is to remove Malicium from air. It explains why the conflicts are inevitable. Nevertheless, Mao is still interested about Barirosa. Barirosa's feeling is complicated.

Rys' has really come into her own as a cook! What started out as an attempt to win her man (which succeeded) has now become something she likes doing, especially when she can cook for her and Flio's future kids! Though the knight girls are kind of their kids too !
Though their meal is interrupted by the return of Princess Elizabeth, here to properly apologize to Flio as Banaza for all the disrespect and harm her kingdom had done to him, though for Flio that feels like an entire lifetime ago and not something he's all that concerned about. Especially when he knows Elizabeth is there for business. But he won't hold any important meeting without Rys by his side ! Basically, Elizabeth knows Flio doesn't want to become a Hero or fight a war against the demons, but she's making him aware of the holes in Klyrode's defenses that will leave certain villages defenseless, as well as her own plan to take the throne from her father so as to prevent him from screwing things up again. And to that effect, she needs to insure Flio won't turn on them to the demons and, if possible, he can help reinforce her popularity so she can gain the throne. At the very least, exposing her plans to Flio is still a big show of trust on her part . If Rys can just so casually crawl into Flio's bed, they should just spring for a double at this point. But it's his marriage to Rys that has got Flio especially concerned about the state of things between humans and demons, and wanting to help foster a peace so that their future kids can live in a world where humans and demons can coexist like he and Rys do . This week on the Misadventures of the Fake Hero and Tsuya, all this being on the run from the law is bad for Tsuya's stomach, but the "Hero" is kind enough to give her what little rations they still have left. Despite everything, the "Hero" actually cares about Tsuya, and she cares about him, even finding him, of all people, "dashing" after she broke them out of jail. They make be screw-ups, but they stick by each other and might genuinely have a shot as an outlaw couple...had they not also been captured by Phullul for Yuigarde . Now Flio and Rys are fighting off demons and saving little elf girls in distress as basically Superheroes! Flio isn't out to hurt anyone, but he's learned some intimidation tactics from Rys and he knows how to wield his power to wield the big stick and ward off demons with mercy . Even a big and unruly Cyclops can't hold a candle to Rys. Insulting her brother is one thing, insulting her entire race is too much for Rys to let stand. The cyclops was lucky Rys has learned restraint from Flio to the point where the most she does with him is hit him with his own club and pin him down forcibly with trees piercing his bodies...and even more lucky Flio is willing to heal him . Elizabeth is deeply moved that Flio is not only saving her citizens but also giving her credit. I hope she really can make it up to him . Gholl realizes his brother is making a move, and trying to steal the throne from him, and to that effect he's about to use the "Hero" and Tsuya as human sacrifices to an Evil God to take out his brother. Jeez . What do the Princess and the "Hero" have in common? No one, not even the credits, actually acknowledges their real name! Also, are Ghozall and Uliminas moving in with Flio and the gang !?

Seems like a good deal for Flio. He gets to help the innocent civilians, help the princess who seems pretty decent, and also screw over the king by raising the princess' stock with the populace
I laughed at the night time scene when Flio was thinking about what to do. They're married for real now, both in love for real now, yet they still have separate beds? lol Quote:
One of the hottest on the show, IMO, is the fake hero's sycophant girl Last edited by Strahan; 2024-06-04 at 14:24. |

Well, insulting Fengaryl and the lupine demons in front of his little sister wasn't exactly the smartest move, as the cyclop learned. He's lucky that Flio has a no kill policy and even healed him.
Who isn't as lucky is Hero Gold-Hair who After becoming a Monster and being put in jail now has the honor of being used as a sacrifice to help Yuigarde overthrow his brother. The separate beds were quite disappointing...I mean, they are a married couple for real now.

Yea, karma is hitting that guy constant and hard, lol. He's basically been designated the show's comic relief now. I saw someone talking about this show somewhere said that the fake hero and the brunette are basically Team Rocket, and that feels pretty appropriate lol |
