Somehow I'm more interested in the stuff that comes with the first pressing DVDs: another round of cast commentaries plus two special seiyuu talks; the first featuring the three main characters from My-HiME (Nakahara Mai-Mai, Shimizu Ai-Mikoto, Chiba Saeko-Natsuki) VS the three main ones from My-Otome (Kikuchi Mika-Arika, Koshimizu Ami-Nina, Yukana-Mashiro). The second is the 'Meister' Talk featuring Shindou Naomi-Shizuru, Yuzuki Ryoka-Haruka, Noto Mamiko-Yukino, Nogawa Sakura-Shiho, Inoue Kikuko-Yukariko, Iwao Junko-Akane and Saiga Mitsuki-Chie (Sob, no Nanri Yuuka-Nao again).

But it's good to see Duran again.

The whole story of Mai's lover turned out indeed to be a ruse or scam. She and Natsuki mentioned that guy extensively. Though they do not tell outright his name, we aren't fooled. Of course, IMO I know it's not Sergey.

I can identify with Mai, because there are times when I also spaced and zone out and not even myself knew what I was doing or heading to.

Always, Natsuki unwillingly becomes the joke of fanservice as her My-HiME counterpart did in episodes 3 & 9.

More Natsuki in her natural state of beauty, though her screams where unneeded since there were no men at all.

1) Sergei isn't Tate.. at least we can FINALLY gather that from the way they're talking... Note that she points to before her ears, indicating sideburns. Something Sergei lacked throughout the series (while Tate had him some serious sideburns going on). She notes he's a friend from her childhood, which is a little different, but interesting.

2) Mai's (lack of a) sense of direction is infamous. Shizuru kids about Natsuki having, herself, never actually finished the 'Field Trip' because Mai got them both lost. Note how long it took her to REALIZE she was lost. Seriously. Walking through the desert?

3 & 4) Suddenly finding yourself in your 'natural state' around alumni and students from Guarderobe is no insulation from leering.
