Episode 13 Screen Captures
I guess the show didn't have time to have a deep dilemma-mode Saito. I'd have liked to see him mulling over whether to go home or not for a long, intense moment. Well, at least the series ended on a lighthearted and 'awwww~' note. ^__^ Zero no Tsukaima has been one of the cuter anime shows that I've seen. The greater question is, who was hotter in this episode? Farmgirl!Siesta or Warrior!Henrietta? XDD

I havent watched the last episode yet myself, but I read moonphase's review of the last ep and anime series as a whole, and I have to agree with it. I'll probably watch it just to enjoy the animation, and see the characters in motion one last time
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/moonphase/ It was very well done within the contraints of time they had, but it could have been sooo much better. So much wasted potential. Also, he has already read volume 9 and will have a review of that up soon. (うらやましい I havent even ordered mine yet) ( thanks to sushi-y for telling me about that blog ) |

Well for me this episode was both a dissapointment and a relief.
Spoiler:
oh and to answer your question Li Jianliang without a dought farmgirl Siesta is the hottest. all together i give this series a 7.5/10. if it had been a longer series, say 24 episodes or so, then there could have been some better character development and a few more adventures. If they decide to continue the story with a 2nd season then my score of it could change. Only time will tell if a 2nd season will be made. |

yep the ending turned out just the way i expected (nearly)
i think that if the second half of the ep was animated to fit 2 eps it would have been better...cause yea it was too rushed...damit why didnt they strech it out to 14eps? >.< but it wasnt a total failure just a little glitch... the ending did the series justice and i dnt think a 2nd season would be possible...they wraped it up pretty nicely

Considering the time they had to work with, im pretty satisfied with the ending. I've seen other short anime's that have had far worse endings due to time constraints. This one managed to tie things up pretty well in the end. Here's hoping for a second (and longer) season. /pray
