Can I ask groups not to repeat post every few days.

Recently there have been more and more posters who are repeating time and time again for basically the same request (same project, same positions, etc.) with only a day or two between the posts.

I can only assume this is done to bring their request back to the "head" of the queue to try and get it noticed. Trouble is the more people who do this just makes the situation worse and as such is unfair and abuses the purpose of the thread.

There should be no reason why there shouldn't be several weeks between requests. If the situation has changed since your last post, then please go back and edit your previous post instead of posting again.

Can people be a bit more responsible and considerate. If this continues then unreasonable repeat posts will be deleted (instead of being merged with previous posts as has been done up till now) along with warnings and infractions being handed out.

Sorry bout this, but I didnt know he was putting it up here. So I would just like to add that we are also looking for a back-up timer for Death Note, one who can scene-time and such. We have Squirrel as our timer, but it wouldnt hurt to have another.

Thank you

I'm an experienced translator looking for a new series.

I am interested in tling Dr. Rin ni kiitemite {ttp://}

I'm open to other suggestions, including anime and manga series that don't have other groups working on them (I mean no stealing series, no doing a series another group is already doing. In the case of Dr. Rin, it's been dead for a long time).

Please send some kind of good introduction, I don't want any 'hey do u want to tl blah blah for me/ kthx'. It'd be nice to know how long your group has been together, what kind of other projects you've done, etc. Also, please link to any series you are interested in doing.

I think pux's PM box is going to be so spammed =P

Anyway, Ayu is looking for people who can do kar time and kar FX.
We're also open to other positions. We're a group with full of warmth and we don't torture our staff! So, if you think you fit well in Ayu, do hop on #Ayu @ and message randall or Luminaria.

Positions: Secondary Translator, Translation Checker
Group: Nikuman Fansubs
Projects: Gin-iro no Olynsis, other projects which might come up
IRC Channel:
IRC Contact: nightsky87

We are currently looking for secondary translators to complete our scripts since our primary translator is not always available and can only do so much. Most parts of the scripts are to be translated by the primary translator though. Translation checkers are also needed in the group. Minimal or no time pressure involved.

If anyone is interested, please contact me via PM or email. You may alternately visit our IRC channel but please leave some contact info since we are not always physically online. Thanks!

Not-as-needed but would be nice to have positions: Other timers.
Group: Mana
Project: Briefed on contact.
AIM: Sol Vanderlyn

I'll say it right now, right now it's just me. I can edit, encode, typeset except for karaoke, time if I need to, and translate some Japanese (I'm in advanced Japanese 3 this year, so that's what I have to work with, but I don't have enough to translate an entire episode.)

I can't do the other stuff. I need people to help with that. So if you're willing to help this one-man group (as it stands right now) please contact me. I have my own reasons for not joining another group.

I also have an IRC channel, but there's no point in listing it when it's just me right now. So just contact me on AIM, MSN, or via E-mail or PM for now.
