I didn't know imageready could run multiple animation layers like the kanon sig you have now.
Any way you can share the PSD with me? I really want to learn how to do that. Im an adobe photoshop specialist but fail pretty bad when it comes to imageready, the most i use it for is slicing for webpage designs. |

Ah, I was experimenting with a different animation technique when I came out with that effect. There's actually 2 steps to it. Step 1: Divide the entire animation into 3 parts. Notice that each part doesn't have a complete loop. The first frame of the 2nd part is actually the next sequence after the last frame of the 1st part. (Confusing?) Step 2: Tween the movement such that the 1st part moves to the 2nd part's position to create the effect of a continuous loop. After that, I just do up the rest of the sig and tilt the animation a bit (then comes the optimisation part to keep it under 50, 000 bytes. ) |

Ah, I used to work on animation some years back... But I was using flash though... I kind of gave up because it simply took up too much time. A simple 2 minute animation could take up to more than 24 hours especially when working with a 12-24 fps. I did KEYFRAMING. Zomg! Edit: Ohohoh Happy bday Riker! =D I'm first, I'm first ^^ aha~ha~ Last edited by innominate; 2007-06-15 at 11:09. Reason: June 16th! &innominate didn't want to doublepost |
