There way for Toei escape this failure if they smart ask Masami Kurumada for idea similar to The Legend of Zelda and UQ Holder! Timeline split each other but both canon Story but Different Story Ending,

Example Gold saint Aries Avenir his Goddess Athena got kill in Future and Hades win God of time Chronos Help Avenir send him past but Timeline split Avenir tell Goddess how beat Hades in Future and Thanatos god of death/Hypnos God Of Sleep
