only this series dat finish 1 vol in 2 eps and they cut so many scene like lux asking krlucifer to protect lisha...and as a reward he will tell who is the black heroes....an etc...
ahh maybe this scene for the BD lol

Well, I knew that Lux was the Black Hero, but he didn't kill his parents as it was his brother Fugil who did it. Still, he destroyed the Arcadia remnants by himself!

Meanwhile, how will this series move forward after this?

Ah, so there are high chances for another AMA here, then i'll wait and see how it will shape out; I bore AMA for Ouka, but since here I'd be for Krulcifer (of which I don't know a thing, so she may also be a let-down) I won't bear it if that will be the case.

On a general note it still would be a shame, the first episode showed good quality values in the art style, both for the characters that in general, it gave me a nice feeling. in any case better than all its predecessors.

But at least they didn't cut Bahamut Saitama-ing those poor Drag-Riders.

Well since i can defend best girl without spoiling im just going to agree to disagree.. I will say this, if you have to cut a majority of the other girls scenes to make lisha look better, of course she's going to seem more interesting. That however only shows that main girl herself is pretty much a favorite of the director. The op visual says as much.

Lisha is pretty interesting even without cutting the scenes of other girls
And it's not like the butchering only affected other girls
LN Lisha is a lot cuter as well
But if they do things right Krulcifer would probably end up being the most favorite one within the next 3-4 episodes

The butchering did effect everyone but krulcifer got the shortest straw. Thats not a good sign that they will handle her arc well but i guess we will see.

After 1st LN I started liking Lisha and became interested in Krul character. After 2nd Vol. I still like Lisha, but Krulcifer became my favorite character in this series.

I see girls in Lux harem like this:
Krulcifer - waif, and that one and only girl
Lisha - best friend
Phi - sister
I can't say anything about Cecylia Celestia or Yoruka because their Volumes was not translated yet.

Currently biggest problem with this adaptation is we don't know what they planing and why they rushed Lisha arc in 2eps cutting scenes important to building character for both Lisha and Krul - even that small tease when Lux woke up before alarm. Also giving Lisha "main heroine" status (that opening ending when Lux grab her arm...) is problem itself, she is not MC, she was just first girl in Lux harem. I wanted 4eps for second arc because it's look like it's Krul that have MC status in novels (if we can say that in harem LN...) and also it's clear that she is most favorite character of most LN readers. But since they push Lisha as main and still they butchered her arc, I can't see this happening. Most probably this will be 2eps per LN till Vol. 5, and they will finish it with filler ending.

Let's hope I'm wrong.

On side note, I checked manga adaptation and damn, manga did so MUCH better job adapting LN that this first two crappy anime episodes.

Also her name is actually hard to remember and people call her in 2-3 different ways

V1 is Lisha's volume and V2 is Krul's so if they give us lots and lots of Krulcifer when animating V2 that could balance things out

Being done reading the first novel.

I can't really say she is tgat cute, her interest in Luz on a romantic way was too sudden.

And compared to other girls she comes as an annoying pushover, still within tolerable limits.

This episode was good enough for me just for her, but seems like Lerche is going to keep the rush. Time to lose all hope.

I really hate when those guys just do these disservices to non-readers.

It's not just a matter of me having time or interest in reading the source materials, I'd like to SEE them properly adapted and animated.

i really hated how marginalized krul is being in her own arc. her teasing and flaunting lux in front of the whole academy was reduced to one scene and certain scenes make her come off to distant. and the added lisha lines are only confirming what i already thought that she is being favored.

this is no different than what the danmachi anime did to aiz, but in spite of that krul is still enough to make this semi-bearable. especially with AO content showing off her fafnir suit.

they have enough material left for 2 more episodes but i doubt we wont get another cram fest like last week. even the first season OF IS did a better adaptation than this crap
