That's admittedly a pretty liberal translation, but I guess if it adds flavor /shrug.

On a different note, I don't know why MC-kun puts up with Aqua. The others have their respective redeeming qualities, but Aqua has literally none. Not only does she constantly cause problems, but she's never the least bit remorseful or considerate. She's the worst.

Isn't it the opposite? Since the MC choose her as his bonus, he is absolutely and ultimately stuck with her, regardless of what he wants to

..... Aqua being useless is her whole concept design, and I do agree that from the whole cast, she has the less interesting "chemistry" with Kazuma. I like it when she is bullied, at least (the fight for the fire place never ends )

Well like someone said "useless" is the concept of Aqua's design but truth to be told without her they would never have a chance again those mid boss/spider machine/ etc...she is a (failure) goddess after all not to mention the cheat skill "revive". -Kazuma learns and uses Explosion against the Demon King, dies as a result.
-Iris gives him a choice, to reincarnate on Earth in a loving, wealthy family, or return to his current world.
-Kazuma chooses to continue living in the current world, and chooses to bring Aqua with him again (she had returned to Heaven since her obligation was completed).
-Iris tells him that the Demon King is only the first boss, and that there are many other Demon Lords out there.
-Iris then reveals what had happened to the other characters. Megumin is continuing to blow up castles, and Darkness fame had skyrocketed and she keeps receiving marriage proposals, but keeps turning them all down, telling Kazuma about it every time. (Iris tells the readers that she's waiting for Kazuma to propose to her, but he's too dense to realize it).

If I remember correctly I believe that Kazuma somehow obtained an item that has store the spell explosion and he uses it for a kamikaze attack. And dies along side the demon king.

She is the princess. According to some spoilers from 4ch they intended to use one of the former heroes items(it can make swapping bodies possible) to steal her body. MC and Chris while hunted by the town(baka party included) try to find the item and steal it.
