I've been searching but couldnt find the song at eps 24 @15.07... I know it's a different version from 20 生まれたての風. It uses "flute like" sounds and not the music box sound...

Anyone can point me to the correct direction? thanks

It's the version from the Kanon Air Piano Arrange Album Re-feel.

Does anyone know which soundtrack the piano version of 日溜まりの街 (A Sunny City) appears on? I know it's played a few times throughout the series but the best part where I remember it being played is in episode 24 at 10:51-13:44. I've looked at the tracklisting on all the soundtracks on wikipedia but can't find one that had it. I thought it'd be listed on the Re-feel arrange album since it's a piano arrange album but I was surprised that it didn't have it.

Thanks in advance.

I think - nowhere. There are some track in different versions that you can't find on the original OST's, for example a version of "pure snows" (with a layer-part only) in Kanon 2006. That's too bad that there is no OST for Kanon 2006.

Aww, oh well. The closest one that I found that resembled it was a small portion of the track mixed into 風を待った日 on the "Piano de Kanon" doujin album. It had just about the exact same note and pitch but had some more layers of piano playing along with it.

The piano arrange of 日溜まりの町 on that doujin album was a bit more upbeat compared to the one that was played in the anime.

EDIT: Just listened to more tracks off the Piano de Kanon and track 12 約束 is the closest one to it though it still has a layer of piano playing along with it still.

Nothing really interesting and a real meaning in this. It's just for "pumping the sound".

Back me wanna baby
Back me wanna baby
Back me wanna baby
Back me wanna baby

get me move baby this is my world cause
it isn't another funky sister girl
tomorrow get your need where her expect
when we wanna somebody hit the girl
have a girl such a choice back in till
put it to main your're a good thing
you could have a hope when the beat
will pump them to the base line
but stoppin' everybody in a mama know
I canna go to my hell kids pick
a back to the mine give'em a microphone
so I will make a rhyme beat it so
likeing get away treat cause it
will give you a come let's fight track
it out take this a miss match let's mess
around and get a hit smash

Back me wanna baby
Back me wanna baby
Back me wanna baby
Back me wanna baby

Note that "Back me wanna baby" sounds like "That funky day", for example, due the fast and not clear pronounce (in a real funky "black style"), it's really hard to catch this. Some parts are really strange for me too, because a hear another, but this is an offcial lyrics, huh...

With a really big-big chance, but not sure for 100 %. But I'm interested in another question - how did they wrote this really broken lyrics in this style (but who knows the real meaning of this really-really broken-style with some broken words, maybe the real solution here is because their english is bad, huh ?), it's hard to believe that the composer really knows english at this level due very funny mistakes, for example, in the opening of Tomoyo After with the "lylics" word and no mentions about english-knowing in his wiki profile (lyrics-author is Maeda, of course). Yes, we know the difference between "r" and "l" (no "l" in japanese) in japanese, but this is a really rude mistake in english, and this isn't a mistake due fast-typing or something. Maybe, they hired some black guys for this part ? Lol...

No,no.
This part is from a sampling CD.
And they combine this ramdomly.
So they didn't hire anyone and they don't exact lyrics.

Well, this is an arragement variation of "Morning Lights" ("Asakage") - from "Last regrets". Unreleased stuff again.
