I have to say before I continue this was the best episode yet especially to see the full true beauty of Mikuru. Major props to Kyoto for the idea with the weapons that were actually desks. And especially when she rebuilt the entire room back to normal but forgot to remake her glasses . Anyway the picture shown up there is what quite alot of people want to see on their desktop. If anyone can get me a res of that shot from 1024x768+ I would be glad in vectoring the entire screenshot for all of you to enjoy. Though it would take backbreaking efforts and I might do mistakes but if you want me to do it PM me with the screenshot and I will do it ASAP, I want to have you guy's happy to see something that sweet turned into a vector.

This episode was absoultely fantastic. I could say it's the best one since the "baseball " but the plot goes that they want to confuse us as to whom will Kyon go for in the end, which I know would be __________________. But it's still so damn frustrating XD

... remember Itsuki asked Kyon what he had to do to get out of the situation with Haruhi in closed space. Kyon siad he didn't want to talk about it. Now I'm not putting this in spoilers cause Its not confirmed its speculation but it means Kyon will have to kiss Haruhi, like in snow white how the prince had to kiss the princess. This explains his relcutance to tell Itsuki about it becuase he is a little bit embarresed about it being as how he is a tad bit embarrsed about having to do that.

Impossible, Yuki was wearing glasses. If that event was suppose to happen after this event Yuki would still have her glasses.

No lol, that entire battle scene, the entire episode is created *Exactly* like how the novel described. It was entirely Tanigawa Nagaru's creation, every single graphic and detail of the battle was described by his words. Yes even the background.

First let me say that I'm not a Asahina Mikuru fan. Second, let me say that I am now a Asahina Mikuru fan. Holy CRAP she's hot older. While it doesn't look like she got much brighter, I think she may be using a few more brain cells.

Thirdly, I am also now a Nagato fan. She was freakin' awesome defending Kyon in the classroom against Ryoko. And I totally agree with Kyon, she looks much cuter without the classes.

Ahhh, amazing episode 10/10. First time I've given that out for this series too (other episodes came close though).

Those were two different "prior" events referred to in that episode.

1) The Haruhi and Kyon scene; mentioned when Itsuki was talking to Kyon. No flashback here. Hasn't been shown in an episode yet.

2) The Yuki and Kyon scene; shown in flashback form as Mikuru's talking about Yuki using an incantation on the bat. That scene was the one shown in episode 10 (with exactly the same background at that point, too), and Yuki is still wearing glasses at that point.

Now that I've seen the subs, I have to re-iterate...
Damned good episode.
Beyond the excellently choreographed and animated battle scene, I'm most impressed by the accuracy of Kyoani's adaptation. Everything was spot on that it felt as if the novel had come alive. To even achieve this kind of accuracy, there must have been either an ironfist dictatorship from Tanigawa Nagaru or a great deal of respect between the Kyoani and Tanigawa-san.

Yuki "forgot" to regenerate glasses? c'mon, who can picture her forgetting anything within the realm of mere-human comprehension? Which makes me wonder why she would do it, and lie when probably no one but Kyon will ever notice; which suggests that she already had him pegged as a not-glasses guy, which means she was playing dumb when she asked, which means that that scene is her warped idea of... flirting?!

Yuki was injured, and had placed priority in healing her injuries. It's not that hard to forget about her glasses, which was entirely non-functional to begin with, when she was busy putting vital organs back together.

As hard as it may seem from witnessing her display of power, Yuki isn't omnipotent. That's what make her cute.
