Still would have been nice if it had been released to the States, but yeah, I doubt it will happen since the first season and A's were more or less considered a flop by Funimation. So they'd have no reason to dub the movie, unless sales suddenly take a sharp upward curve.

Fate is so damn adorable [as usual]. That's probably the smallest in stature that I've seen Arf. I believe Fate just supplied magical energy to her and it happened like that - that fated meeting.

That's why I was thinking it might have to do with the scene where Fate finds Arf while she's near-death -- and forms a contract with her. I believe Fate was worn out after, so she took a rest.

Old news but Funimation was responsible for the license rescue. Geneon had the dub set up before going out of business. If one of the companies has room, they'll release the movie here, although the chances of a change in dub are likely.

Huh, she was sick? Didn't know that. I just thought she was dying because she'd been abandoned or hurt or something, didn't know she was sick.

She was abandoned because she was sick. It's why Fate formed a contract with her, rather than nurse her back to health. It was the only way to save her.
