How do Arf's Barrier Breaker Strike, Vivio's Accel Smasher, Yuuno's Protection Smash, Vita's Rakenten Hammer, and Zafira's flying kick differ from each other?
Or if that's too much trouble, is there anything special about Arf's Barrier Breaker Strike, and interesting about her overall tactics? |

You kidding? That kick just makes you an easy target. Zafira's ranged attacks are crap, and consider how much trouble I usually have in close range, Zafira is worthless to me.
I was asked earlier who I mostly use and I guess I'd have to say the Florian sisters. For the lulz I'll go back and use them to beat U-D repeatedly. While their shots may take too long to fire the charged bind is awesome because you warp in and can do a melee combo.

Well yeah it's possible to clear with him (I've cleared both games with everyone), it's just harder than others. When faced with U-D's super armor I had a lot of trouble with Zafira because melee is suicide and his ranged attacks aren't very helpful. Compare to Einhart, who I can use to wipe the floor with U-D despite her only having 1 ranged attack.

Speaking of, though, a reminder you can get the Materials swimsuits starting tomorrow by filling out that survey. Anyone else going to do that? I don't want to be the first and screw it up

I can't believe it...
They actually FOUND a way to make people WORSE than Shamal is! URGH! WHY do we HAVE to use those WORTHLESS catgirls and Chrono!? They SUCK! Edit: I... I gotta say this... It's not a fun game. At all. Anger, frustration and fury are all I'm feeling right now. I feel like I wasted my money buying this game. I feel like I've wasted my time playing this game. I'm feeling disappointed that this game isn't as fun as the last one was. Too many issues with it. I wish I had never bought it.

Cool it Nanya01. I get your fustrations but this game in my opinion is better than the first. I agree that the cat sisters suck but Chrono does not. It is hard, but you can seal your opponents moves with his binds though I agree that it is a little too much to give him two.
The real issue here is that the CPU reacts to what button you press most of the time, making it a damn fustration sometimes as you might be ex-accel with the CPU like Dragonball. Reinforce is powerful here. All you have to remember is don't fight in cross range. She sucks in cross range, having lousy damage, slow attacks and short range. In long rane, set the dark sphere and blast you enemy with it. Careful of your MP gauge though as it eats up alot. Finally, Rein's long press circle attack gives you a fast bind and a followup attack that is good. Don't forget about the FBD which is quite powerful too though the trigger sucks. I get your pain as that is what I feel at first, but the story eventually makes me like the game. |

No. The A.I. is ULTRA aggressive, making it damn near impossible to figure out what to do next before they pummel over half your life bar away. SEVERE balance issues! The fact that dash is taken from your mana gauge instead of a separate dash bar means that you RUN OUT OF DASH when you NEED it ALL THE TIME! Or when you're attacking, your attacks are done before you realize it. Binds mean nothing, they snap in and then fade off right away. Oh yeah, the fact that EVERY damn character, except for Kyrie that I've used so far, has SHORT grapple range. Oh, but every ENEMY I've faced has LONG grapple range in close range. I'll try and grab, missed, they try to grab, without moving any closer, they hit. Or when I try to hit with a FDB attack, they GRAB me and combo me before I can hit. Horrible game and I feel like I wasted my money.

The A.I in my opinion works like this:
They counter the buttons you press. So, the safe way to start a battle is move back, then press the attack. You think the regular enemy is fustrating? Just wait till you face Heidi and Stern. They counters like crazy. The one with the best grapple range is Zaffy, but don't use grapple too much for the others as strike break them. The MP gauge thing was done on purpose as people over in Japan complains that it is too easy and makes it not neccesary to control your long range attack spamming. Kyrie's grapple range sucks, so I praise you for using her well. Balancing is a problem and Nanoha is the damn ass(no offense) as her Accel Shooter plus Buster combo eats your health bar quick and even when you block it, it eats your MP gauge mad. Precia is also bad, considering her defense is so low that everyone does 2X damage against her but at least she has good attacks. For the binds, it is useful against human opponents more as compared to the CPU, though I have tried a bind loop using Chrono which defeated my enemy via time over. |
