Just a note: That passenger liner they're planning to hit? It's called the Queen Esmerelda.

That's a ref to one of the characters from Leiji Matsumoto's Harlock verse, or rather part of its shared world.

The one they cancelled was the Queen Esmerelda. Chiaki's father is taking that job instead.

The Matsumoto ship however is named the Queen Emeraldas, and is a pirate ship.

Having finally watched Episode 15 yesterday: Lynn saying to Marika "You sound just like Jenny." is very high praise. Marika taking after Jenny while staying true to herself is quite a good thing for her. Jenny would be a very good role model for any future leader. I hope that Gruelle and Chiaki took notes too.

Misa and Coorie and the rest of the Bentenmaru crew were quite amusing too with their "oh no, that wasn't in the manual". I somehow suspect though that Chiaki and the Princesses didn't need to hide the fact that the crew had been helping them. Marika was the one who told Gruelle to know when to ask for and accept help after all, and I suspect that Marika is smart enough to suspect that the crew gave Show that "beginner's manual". Chiaki-chan should know by now that underestimating Marika is a bad idea. I doubt the Princesses have heard about Marika's Solar Ray of DOOM.

I wouldn't be surprised if Marika managed to blow up a sun by the end of the series(and thus be equal to Samantha Carter in that department

)

And I guess Marika learned about how to build a harem from her mother. I guess Mami is the only one right now to acknowledge that Marika has already gotten herself a nice-sized harem and that Marika is a natural at being the center of a harem.

Interesting to see how the Marika and the Yacht Club do their pirating next week. I suspect that Lynn may get her chance to try out the ship's Electronic Warfare systems. (Oh and this series needs more Jenny.)

That is my favorite track of the anime, although I also love the OP, the ED and the music that goes with the next episode previews.

I know it goes with the Hakuoh Space Yacht Club, but every time I hear that I think of Jenny. I guess that isn't a surprise since Jenny was a big part of the Yacht Club for the 1st half of this series.
