Unfortunately it hasn't begun yet, J-novel said that it would began towards the end of November but it didn't say a concrete day, there isn't anything about the series on its release schedule either.

I know that the servant of fool is supposed to be the member of the Universe Apostle, but how and what they did to expelled the spirit from Mizuki.

well then, volume 9 was finally released in english... I guess I'll talk about my thoughts on it, for the few people that are still magically alive on this thread

I was left somewhat confused about the importance of most of the characters introduced this volume. most of them seem pretty interesting, especially beatorex, the society leader and the dude at the weed cafe. even so, I don't know if I should start caring about them or not. they seem to tease something about beatorex, because all that we've seen of him was an introduction, and the fact that he helped suimei defeat the kudrack guy. lord nestaihm or whatever his 10 names are probably won't change a lot as the novel goes on, but I do appreciate the lore and mysterious atmosphere surrounding him. I have a feeling we won't see much of the weed guy, and the homunculus blondie might(?) show up later (at least I hope so).

I was a little bummed that we didn't get any information about the last two girls, isrina and alexis, but I guess I'm asking too much. this volume didn't surprise me a lot, but I can't be mad about that since I've spoiled myself the whole thing. I, at least, expected a tiny portion of the extra stories to be about them, but we did get another character (it's not an anime girl tho, that's not excusable!) and hatsumi's rival, itsuki, got fleshed out a little.

I must say that I did like the contrast between japan's modern world and europe's shady magician world. the first part of the volume was spent focusing on the girls getting used to suimei's world, and I found myself surprised to be bored reading the passages of them goofing around. normally, I'd be all in for some humanisation, but I guess knowing what was coming made me impatient? anyways, suimei and the gang fly to germany, and that's where volume 9 starts to pick up. I LOVED society's dark and shady atmosphere. for some reason, prior to the release, I imagined them to feel similar to the guilds in isekai worlds, but these guys make sure that you know They Are Not Fucking Around.

one thing that disappointed me was the lack of meaningful fights, and I fear that is an issue that exists in the whole novel. what I mean is, putting characters against random, insignificant villains in order to advance the plot. the homunculus seemed interesting, but that section of the fight is tiny compared to the 3 isekai girls' showoff against random magicians.

as for what I think it's next for the series... tbh I'm a little scared, the author hasn't done anything iseoku related for quite a long time. maybe v10 is done, and he wants to directly publish it as a light novel? I dunno, but he seems to be having fun working on the novel with the white haired shota, so I just hope that he hasn't lost interest in iseoku haha.
as for how the story might progress, suimei seems to be taking interest in going against alshuna, so that's going to make an intriguing dynamic between him and the universal apostles. well, we don't know what their plans are for sure, but we know they don't like the goddess. I just hope we get some info on the last girls, dammit! and that the romance plot finally gets to progress! am I asking for too much? I saw someone here say that this is only the introduction, and the romance subplot will begin moving when are the girls are introduced. but 9 volumes of exposition doesn't sound so interesting now, does it?

well, however the novel progresses, I'll be happy to tag along for the ride, flaws or not. I've been in this for too long, I can't back down now!

ahh, I can really go on and on about this, huh? well, I'd be interested to hear what you guys thought about it too
