The Cromwell is a longer-term goal of mine; I'm still amassing the free XP to jump from the Cruiser IV to the Crusader. (The funny thing is, the Cruiser IV itself is a decent vehicle; I think I'm more frustrated with the extremely uneven team quality that I still encounter at Tier 3.)

After 270 games in the StuG and six or seven in the Dicker Max, my StuG crew finally completed their first skill training. And I'm still debating whether I should keep the gunner's Deadeye perk or switch it to Designated Target, like I did with most of the other vehicles where I chose Deadeye as a perk. All of them are configured as snipers.
Though I did set training to Deadeye on the Tiger and T-34, for entirely different reasons. |

If you're good at pinpoint sniping, you can use Deadeye to track enemies and kill them. It's not a good idea for the irregular Dicker Max though, unless you want to basically pound modules out.
Here's an example of what a L/70 StuG III with 100% Deadeye is capable of: What was interesting about the battle was how I managed to get three of my kills by tracking the target. They were really hopeless in their position since they exposed their side or underbelly to me. I loved penetrating them to pieces. |

I don't understand how you can play only low tier games. I just can't seem to handle newbie teams after a few matches and go back to Tier 7+. Well i guess it is sometimes pretty fun to blast newbies with 105mm derp. Or i just run out of patience.

^ Sometimes playing lower tier games feels more like "real" tank combat to me. The idea of tanks, even heavy tanks, speeding about a field taking 7-8 hits and not exploding feels odd. I think the most adrenaline fueled games are sometimes when the field is almost entirely M4s and Pz4's all throwing around derps!

I personally wouldn't classify the KV-1S and the Cromwell as "low tier" tanks, especially since their firepower and performance already put them on par with Tier VII and VIII tanks. Also, the KV-1S doesn't need its U-11 derp gun once it gets its 122mm D-2-5T. Not only does the D-2-5T have far better pen than the U-11, it also has much better damage than the U-11's HEAT rounds.

I meant the 122 for KV1S or else i would've just said KV-1 since it has that howi. The reason i think 1-6 is low tier is because of those tanks i listed as they are very OP and doesn't get balanced out till you hit T7. A t5-6 Heavy has to watch out for derp and KV1S.

Derping without a turret is dangerous... thus, as you have heard from me repeatedly, I prefer Sniper StuG over StuH StuG.
Speaking of derp... got five kills in the Derp Sherman, on eight shots, eight hits, and seven penetrations. Himmelsdorf. I have to give credit to the other team, though... I started partway down the hill, so I ran south down the 7-column alley toward the enemy spawn, took a wrong turn, and ended up climbing the hill behind them—almost entirely unnoticed. Then the derping began. |
