They will try holding as far as possible before making a change.

edit: Oh, well. It's a shame for Van Persie, but there wasn't much of a choice because of his medical condition.

Argentina pitifully missed two good opportunities.

Funny how this match is the complete opposite of the other semi. Mascherano is probably my favourite so far making some really great clean tackles and interception. Didn't want this to end up with a PK shootout but both side is pretty evenly matched and playing defensively to avoid being caught out by counter attacks. It's kinda inevitable for it to get grind down to a tie as the attackers are just running themselves into a solid wall of players.

Unlike soccer/football, it's more likely of being High-scoring...

But that aside, I hate always being right...

Penalty Kicks it is.

Shame we couldnt see a goal winner, Argentina had 2 chances, Holland had 1. No goals.

Generally feel Argentina will win the penalties. Mainly because Holland botched one right at the end of full time. Thats generally how karma works.

Or who has the better nerves. That's everything during a penalty shootout.

Van Gaal was right when he said Cillesen is shite as a penalty stopper.

Oh well... Nothing we can do here.
