One of the funniest animes I've seen. I simply love it
I love how Nagasumi's appearance shifts depending on the situation. brilliant!

OST would be the best bet in this case then ^^

Considering how most dubs fail anyway, trying to get them to fit a certain theme is impossible - but i hope they get the real arnie for luna dad...now that would be awesome XD
But isn't Arnie busy managing his state right now?

Seto no Hanayome bypasses this by using TONS of still frames/backgrounds and background CGI (sakura petals, swirls of dark despair, bright bubbled colours, etc...), in which pretty much nothing moves, or a layer is just repeating itself in a loop with the scene being zoomed in and/or out to give the impression of actual animation.

I realised this because I was making a lot of GIFs from this series and a lot of scenes were just 4 frame loops with a zooming effect. Most particularly the SD-faces/expressions.

It is a clever "trick" in my opinion, because it enables the animators to put more effort in making each frame count, by having each one more detailed and consistent.

Basically speaking, the animation is not actually "MEGA-BUDGET". It is just incredibly consistent and detailed due to creativity. The last episode is an exception though. Apparently they must saved so much money from the earlier episodes (or profits from the CD Singles), the last episode REALLY IS a "MEGA-BUDGET" special.

Cheers,
Nicely spoken.

This is the new "how many episodes?" question of the thread, apparently.

It's an extra that ships only with the limited edition Japanese DVDs, and isn't sold seperately.

Minor update, but an update nonetheless.

Covers to San and Luna's mini-albums that are being released next month.

^ with that said...they are released!
Basically a collection of their character albums + the OP/ED sung by san and luna.

But with 2 bonus tracks...finally we have san's song of sleep and luna's song of war ZOMG!!!

*puts both tracks on loop*

(but it's just a shame that song of sleep is only 27secs long >.>).

SnH still isn't done with the CD releases, if that can be believed.

Two more albums, appropriately bearing the titles of Ninkyo and Ningyo, are set for the end of February. Not much data about what's on them, but apparently Gozaburou and Ren are going to do a duet.

If they have the voice actresses, then they'll go the distance.

Maybe they found it too pointless and ridiculous to come up with something longer? lol I can hardly imagine it being one minute long without just making a joke out it.

Due to the fact the song is supposed to knock people out I guess it would be odd to have it going too long. While with a song about war you can fight for a pretty long time .

These really are great albums for each. Will definitely have these on repeat for a while.

Ep 1

Mermaid gangsters. Now that's original!

This seems like it's going to be a lot of fun. It's insane, and frenetic, but there's a certain order to everything that prevents it from being random, which is good, since random comedy is rarely funny. I love the parents. Both pairs.

Acquiring the rest as we speak (or type).

I must have them, even though they're just collection of character songs. Seriously, with San's Nemuri no Uta and Runa's Song of War in it, who can deny it?

I just had the time to listen to both of the albums. My fav would still be Nemuri no Uta (San's Sleeping Song) which is the cutest thing I've heard in awhile. I must say that both of the mini albums are simply... well, fantastic.

Well, probably doesn't mean anything now but I just received my copy of Seto dvd 6. I haven't watched it but it turns out that episode 17 is redone as a "Ep 17 DVD version". They probably redid the TV ep due to the controversy with copyrights issue. Can't wait to watch it... after I finish watching the first 5 dvds...

You should've probably just asked them, since it's against the rules to ask when episodes will be released here... That being said, a bit of research would have revealed that, in fact, it's dropped.

Of all the series they could have dropped, I think they made the wrong choice in dropping this one

Lets ask mawari...

Well, it's not like it's just some arbitrary decision. Gonzo was sending them C&D letters (through Funimation), so they decided to drop all shows affiliated with them.

Ahh soo...I afraid that was the case thinking about how they also dropped dragonaut because of those damned C&Ds...guess that means no more gonzo for them >_<
